Ever had a DBD inspired dream?
Two mornings ago I woke up in a sweat because I dreamt the Hag captured me and was going to scoop out my eyeballs. The tool she was using looked like those eyelash curler things. It was awful. ðŸ˜
Anyone else?

I woke up before she did it, btw. Thank god

She is my favorite killer, you must have been so excited. I can't.....
But no, unfortunately I've never had a dream about any of this. Just thoughts of my own.

No I was more focused on keeping my eyeballs intact 😳

This is mad because I usually don't but just last week I dreamed I briefly went to hell and was being tortured physically and mentally by PH in particular and was told I could avoid that fate by being a good person back on earth.
The actual terror I felt in that dream was unreal, proper freaked me out that morning

What if the entity was real? But instead of feeding of survivors hope it feeds of other intense emotions. Frustration for example
What if the devs found this unspeakable mystic horror in a weak state. And in return for prosperety promised to nurture it back to health
Create a mind altering game that allows this creature to feed of our intense frustrations. It would explain why people play a game that is reletivly repetitive for 1000ths of hours. Why it's so addicting
And now after 4 years this monstrious being regained enough power to enter sensitive peoples dreams where it can start feeding on the more intense emotion of fear.
Now that it is no longer depended on the game. It is but a matter of time before it awakens from it's slumber and reclaims our world as it's own. Serving as mere snacks for this cosmic horror.
That or you had a latenight snack to many before going to bed

I've dreamed I was playing. In my dreams I was an expert looper... v.v;;
But nah, I haven't had nightmares. The only media that ever gave me nightmares was back in the day when Criminal Minds was really good. I had to stop watching it.

Yes, I dreamed that I was the killer and my friend was a survivor. But instead of being in the game, we played Dead By Daylight real life and I hooked her, and she died in real life and I was sad that I killed her.

I dreamt that I was in this weird version of the Joey Garceffa show Escape the Night and that me and Jane were in a death match against each other. I woke up and was so confused. 😂

I had a dream that DBD had an infection mode where there were a ton of survivors and one killer but each time a survivor was killed they became another killer (I don't remember if they died faster than the usual 3-hook system, I just remember seeing a player list and the amount of killers was increasing). I was being chased by 2 spirits who were alternating their phase walks before I went down. Also, the UI was more similar to Deathgarden than DBD for some reason.

I had a dream once that BHVR started to care about the health of their game more than adding new content constantly, and fixed the majority of the bugs, and actually play tested the fixes/used the feedback they get from PTBs for actual good.
Then I woke up and told myself I'd never try heroin again.

I do sometimes. The night before Pyramid Head came out, I dreamt I was playing as him. Then I opened up DbD the following day and I played as him. I guess dreams really do come true.

I dreamt they added Chucky. Which made me happy and it was a good dream. Then my brain switched it from a game into real life and then...it was no longer a good dream :/

I had a dream night before last that I was on a map running from The Trapper and there was nothing but dead space so he kept downing me. Clearly time for a DBD break.

I had my first DBD dream last night!
I was a survivor on map which appeared to have a house from Banham as a central piece, and all around was a blue-grey wasteland of charred mounds of rubble, rusted piles of metals and steam coming up from the ground. I think there were fires burning under the surface.
I was fleeing from a gnarled, mud-brown Hag, which also appeared to have nurse-like skills, leaving a red hue in her wake. I was the last survivor, desperately dodging this manky hybrid. Eventually, she lost me and gave me enough time to hunt for a hatch. There were only 2 gens left to do, so it should have spawned, amd I found it in the wasteland but jammed shut! The gates had not been activated - but then there were no gates! Just a desolate landscape of decay into the blue-grey ether.
My only thought was to start a gen. The one I found was blackened as if from extreme fires. I tried to fix the gen, but the metal was too twisted. The Hag spotted me and ran over as I waited, resigned to my fate. It screeched "Accept your death with grace" as it grabbed me. It's face erupted into tendrils which clamped around my face and neck, ripping my skin off.
Bizaar to think this dream was the back end of a flight over some exotic city with cabins of silk curtains and luxurious harem-styled bed! That's what it must feel like to be snatched by The Entity!

great headcanon if you ask me.
Ive often had the idea that certain forms of media like isekai anime or different other worldly games are real in a sense and those who experienced it push out there trauma not by therapy but by the art of design
