Rank reset bug

Today was the rank reset on ps4. Before I was rank 7 and the reset didn't change it. I played a few matches and got down to rank 6. I turn the game off for a few hours and when I came back to it I was at rank 9. Is this happening to anyone else?

    My rank (8) hasn’t changed whatsoever. No clue #########’s going on.
