I get some skins, first day. I'm not a pro at all. I'm currently at 12.

I don't really agree but a lot of killers seem to bc when me or another survivor has something slightly bright we spend a while getting dodged before we get a killer that accepts us. Back when dodging sent you back to the queue I just stuck with default skins.

This is a fact 90% of the time

This idea really does help high-skilled players to completely take their opponent(s) offguard.

There have been more basic skin Dwights around in Red Ranks. Don't be fooled by appearances.

I usually dodge when I see 3 with default skins. That's often an idication that this is a rank 20 lobby

Who knew you could instantly get better at the game by changing skins? Apparently if I toss some cash into the game and buy a skin, that makes me better at the game. Can't be that some people just dont care about skins enough to bother using shards/cash on them and would rather use those on the shrine or getting new characters.

The fact that survivor or killer has new skin the day it comes out only means that they have money for it.

The usage of common skin doesn't indicate that player is bad. It only indicates that player either doesn't really care about rare-ish skins or doesn't have spare money to buy a new skin from the in-game store.

I've seen potatoes with brand-new skins and pros with the default skins many times.

Pro players are very worried about their appearance, more if they are streamers too, and spend money in skins to keep their reputation

I met a Russian guy with the latest Yui pink head skin with shorts (a grinding from the rift), and indeed, he looped the 4ss out of my Bubba, so pro as expected, soyou can pre judge

Yeah the first thing my mind when to, when reading the opening post was the demi video. Where he plays up the gag skins = skill for a meme.

i love running the default dwight/jake skin ^^

Killers usually think that i am a rank 20 or so and they just go after me trying to get me out of the game as soon as possible. Then they realise that im not that bad and they wasted 3 min chasing me without getting a hit.

I wouldn't say often, but for me they're definitely the most varying in skill.

I played Warframe b4 getting into DBD and one thing we always said as a joke was that FashionFrame was the REAL endgame, lol. This just reminded me of THAT. Of course though youd also get people who havent gotten far AT ALL and would dump money on the guy to buy stuff though.

I am a potato no matter what I wear. (Some survivors with no real outfits, some with some decent ones.)
