Thoughts on rank reset?
I have no clue what's going on, but I have had so many good games today purp/red.

Useless mechanic now that the dev's have openly admitted rank means nothing and the simple fact rank will be nothing but a useless badge once mmr comes so it should just be removed all together imo. Also the reason you are having good games is because most good players come back to play rank reset most just take a break after they hit rank 1 but with the upcoming mmr we won't know what true rank we are so it wont matter if rank reset gets removed.
Also i don't really see the point of rank reset as im still playing technical red rank players regardless of it.

Its fine, though I have seen an increase in the about of rank 15 and below survivors and killers in matches.

I wish the old rank reset was still a thing, I've seen plenty of people in red ranks who should be green/brown ranks.
But since rank doesn't mean skill, then there is nothing wrong, the only bad part is for new players who have to wait for hours to get into a match

This is what I figured was happening. Most people are playing decent, doing gens, and not being full potatoes.

Pointless tbh, i need to get 5 pips to be red rank again... and due to easy pipping etc. ill likely be rank 1 again within a day of playing, while i get not everyone will rank up as fast going from 1-4 back to 5 seems pointless, not only are you going to rank straight back up to the previous ran but youre just going to be playing with the same people as usual which is why i feel ranking up should be harder and reset should be bigger

We need the old rank reset. This new system is terrible and part of the multiple problems that is ruining the matchmaking. It makes it extremely hard to go down in rank which leaves all these people piled up at higher ranks than they should be.

It helped newer players have less time queuing, real red rank experienced players so it felt good when outplaying someone, currently I see rank 20 plays on rank 1 survivors, disrespecting god pallet and stuff.
Just common stuff nowadays, just a few min ago, I saw someone dropping god pallet when I was nowhere close to it not even trying to stun me, I was about.....20m away? Maybe less but you get the point.
I've also seen red rank killers just pressing W and hoping for the win, no mind games no nothing, some killers I've played against tunnel the same person where an experienced killer would probably go for the easy down, like you as the killer try to apply pressure but people now don't get that it doesn't matter if the survivor is good or bad, a down is pressure.
