Just read the patch notes, and still no changes to pyramid head perks?

I just don't understand how the devs can be happy about those perks, when I see literally everyone else calling for buffs. What´s the point of the PTB and people giving feedback then? Those perks are a complete waste of perkslots

Happy is subjective. As long as players continue to buy the content, the devs have no incentive to change.

No change to them unfortunately, hopefully they'll be updated/changed later though. On the plus side, The one thing I was expecting to see changed isn't even mentioned in the notes: PH's "1 shot" attack. The reason that is in " " 's is because its not actually a 1 shot down, its a rapid fire 2 hit attack that saw lots of complaints in the PTB forums despite being significantly difficult to pull off. I'm hoping that this means they haven't changed it, and that it's become a feature for him because, as previously mentioned, it's insanely hard to pull it off and really only useful if you've cornered a survivor. We'll just have to see if its been patched out without mention of it or not (fingers x'd that they didn't change it).

PTB recently hasn't been about content feedback. It's been about bug feedback and making sure the actual game still works properly.

That's not a bad thing, but it certainly feels bad as players to leave feedback that was requested about the actual content and it seldom if ever actually leads to change.

So don't expect the content to change, just the bugs. If content will change it'll likely just come in the form of another PTB, not more changes during one/after it.

Pretty disappointed with the perks quite honestly considering the concepts are great. Hoping mid chapter they get slight buffs because as it stands now they're too situational. Not in a sense that you use them in a strategy but you're only going to have rare moments to utilize them in game compared to other perks that have more up time. For example we'll compare with a perk that isn't even amazing

    Trail of Torment

You guide your victims along a path of pain and punishment.

After kicking a Generator, you become Undetectable  for 15 seconds.

During this time, the Generator's Aura  is revealed in yellow to all Survivors.

Trail of Torment can only be triggered once every 120/100/80 seconds.

    Dark Devotion

The display of your Powers creates a whirlwind of panic that spreads throughout the land.

You become obsessed with one Survivor. Hitting the Obsession  with a Basic Attack causes the Obsession to emit a Terror Radius of 32 metres for 20/25/30 seconds.

You are granted the Undetectable  Status Effect for the duration. The Obsession hears the Terror Radius they emit for the duration.

You can only be obsessed with one Survivor at a time.

"And terror shall take hold of a defiant non-believer, who shall falsely announce my arrival." (The Tablet of Adiris, 48.9)

Trail of Torment's tell is the aura on the generator. Dark Devotion's tell is the obsession getting hit. Both are easy to figure out once the killer has used it once. However Dark Devotion has more up time for so little downsides and yes you can argue you have to find your obsession but if I had to pick between the two it's going to be Dark Devotion. The aura is such a downside on its own with such a short duration. It's comparable to Tinkerer but that has a short duration because Hillbilly is meant to use the perk more than other killers. The 80 second CD is such a huge downside at most it should be scaled like 80 / 70 / 60 with a longer duration.

What are the niche uses in situations where FP works?

The "1 shot" was said to be a bug. That would likely be characterized as a fix rather than a change.

I dont think anyone was asking for some super S class perk or anything, rather something you'd use other than memeing. We've had nice perks like infectious fright, thrilling tremors and corrupt intervention. Trail of torment for example has the same issue ghostface did when he first released. Upon entering stealth mode, you announce to the entire map "HEY GUYS!!! I"M OVER HERE ENTERING STEALTH MODE!!!" which kinda defeats the point, lol.

Can't someone else just go in and do the save instead? Also, being left exposed for longer means nothing if you are in a chase? If you chase the Broken person, it means almost nothing (unless they are trying to use an insta-heal, which is very situational). If you chase the person they were trying to protect, then the Broken didn't really do a whole lot.

    IMO, it seems fairly useless.
