Auto aim as killer

Why is it even a thing? It doesn't even help it just makes you hit a wall when turning a corner 99% of the time. And if a killer can't even turn their mouse to get the hit themselves then they don't even deserve the hit so why is it in the game?

There is no "auto aim." There's no "aim assist," either. What DbD has is "aim dressing," which means that when the killer swings it's adjusted to look like it hit the survivor. The system checks to see if the hit connects, then it adjusts the swing, then it checks to see if it hit again. This is how killers get screwed out of what should've been a hit.

To put it another way, this is how a dev explained it: Aim assist helps killers get hits they otherwise shouldn't have. Aim dressing will never help a killer get a hit; it can only cause them to miss when they shouldn't have.

What about after I blink and try to swing into a perfectly timed dead hard? My camera and swing animation both get vacuumed to where they DH from and it will make even lunges act like short swings before I'm able to control my camera again.

Huh? I have no idea. I'm just repeating how the devs have explained it. Although, I can't tell how what you're describing is different from what I said: it checks to see where the survivor is and if the hit connects, it adjusts the swing/animation, and then it checks again. But I'm not really sure: I don't play Nurse on PS4. Well, I tried yesterday to do her Daily Ritual. I was miserable the entire time. I got extremely disoriented every time I blinked; even if I landed on top of the survivor I missed because I just... I couldn't tell where I was for a second, which gives them plenty of time to dodge.
