So you're telling me that something like gear head was too op so the devs nerfed it but yet soul guard still isnt nerfed when it's already op and unbalanced especially when you add other op perks with it, There is literally zero excuse for this and there isnt a chance in hell that this flew over the devs heads they knew exactly what they were doing and I'll guarantee they only nerfed gear head because of killers like spirit lmao, If soul guard still isnt nerfed by 2 weeks later then this will only help prove my point.

I'm going to be honest, after toying around with soul guard it's fairly conditional. Yes, I'm aware it can force you to change playstyle if survivors are under the effect of a hex, but there isn't always a hex, nor do you have the time often anyways.

And it'll be mostly useless, because I rarely slug, and even if I do, rarely do I use a Hex that is revealed early game on most of my killers.

Soul Guard only have a great chance working against hex perk like NOED. When the killer decide to slug you to get that one hit on the other teammates. Otherwise, as a survivor I do not see myself keeping any hex perk up doing a trial. The perk is not active when there is no hex totems.

No the perk still works with no hex you just cant get a free unbreakable if there isnt no hex totem and this is going to be even better reason now not to get perks like ruin when they can just keep it up while still doing gens and getting free unbreakables lmao.

That's only if you're playing pyramid head and veen then it's not guaranteed but good luck to you if you're pretty much almost any other killer having a 4 man swf that uses soul guard with ds, BT, unbreakable, and one for all lmao.

This post seems like ramblings of a confused person. The perk is extremely situational and also why would i worry about it if i don't run hex perks? you do realize the time to recover from being slugged is around 30 seconds right? also why would you want to throw in an extra situational perk like unbreakable? the build would be just a get off the ground build at that point you might as well throw in tenacity. I don't feel this perk is going to be used a lot and if it is well i mean hey they got up after i slugged them it's my fault at that point.

Soulguard, like unbreakable, is only useful if the killer slugs while using a hex. I've rarely gotten an anti slug build to work, because I rarely go up against someone that slugs. Maybe if you combine it with a sabo build

It's literally not just for slugging lmao, You get hit with the mending action if you get healed up from the ground then if the killer hits you which is a free BT that is always active with or without a hex and if theres no hex then that's why survivors will just run unbreakable and if there is a hex then they can keep using free unbreakables until the hex is down which the survivors get to control, How do you not see a problem with this lmao.

It's situational at best. there's really no point in trying to point it out to you because you aren't listening. I really don't slug people or see people running in for quick heals. This isn't a very good perk compared to other perks to get yourself off the ground. It's too niche.

its gonna be fine. literally alls you have to do is wait 8 seconds when you suspect they have it. or better yet, just hit the person that used for the people.
also, this is actually good for you if the survivors are doing this. it requires a healthy survivor to hover around an injured person for who knows how long, which means only 2 people are on gens, and it ALSO gives you a chance to snowball by getting 2 people down because they did something that risky.

It isnt OP in the slightest. People complained about Any Means Neccessary being an extremely OP SWF perk, and now look at where it is. People said the same thing for Zarinas perk, For the people as well, this case is no different.

That scenario you just mentioned? Yeah, that's a slug scenario. Kinda difficult for them to get up off the ground if you don't leave them on the ground. Also, it was nerfed, because it used to function like mettle of man endurance when they got up. Personally, I have not been able to get it to work even once.

I brought soul guard in all of my matches and it only saw use once. I would say it's highly situational and wouldn't see much use. I'd rather bring Adrenaline or Iron will given my statistics.

Not being rude but you seem to be basing the whole OP thing of the idea that every game is gonna be SWF.....I played a few games today all Solo Survivor and did not see that perk once. I mean by the standards you are setting like most post screaming a perk is OP, any perk can be considered OP if giving the right scenario like you are giving as an example. In normal Solo que survivor it is no stronger than another because we cannot plan to abuse it like SWF teams.

Looking through this guys post and other comments other places he is a killer main who just wants the easiest 4k games. He is the one that unless he gets a easy 4k the game is rigged and the DEVS must love survivors. It can't be because he lacks skill but that the game is broken because it's not his fault he didn't get a complete 100% win. I would hate to run into him as a killer because from seeing his many other crying post about how survivors are the strongest I would assume his play style is campy and always NOED kind of play style. Anything that makes it easy to get the kills and clear the game out with ease.

Survivors being picked up off the ground in front of the killer aren't common which would be the main reason to run this perk as the other effect is too dependent on the killer running a hex totem you can leave up assuming it's not cleansed to destroy a different totem.
Strong perk that is very reliant on a very specific situation is not going to be a problem.
