Recent Perks are Weak

Anyone else feel that new perks recently have been either too niche to be effective or just so weak that they are not worth running? For example, Gearhead doesn’t guarantee anything even after all the work it takes to activate. Not to mention the fact that the info it gives isn’t nearly as useful as other perks give for much less effort. I feel it’s this way for both survivor and killer. If I’m wrong, I’d like some cool builds that will help me to optimize their value. Good luck in the Fog!
