CHAPTER XVIII: Fatal Frame 3 (2005)
Trailer: https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/169786/chapter-xviii-trailer
Killer: Reika Kuze, The Priestess
Lore: N/A
Movement Speed: 115%
Terror Radius: 32m
Power: Rite of Passage
The Priestess travels between the Realm of Entity and the Other Side.
Press the Power button to transfer selected Survivor to the Other Side. Survivors trapped on the Other Side are invisible to Survivors from the Realm of Entity and cannot interact with each other except when in Dying State or on a Hook.
The Priestess can enter the Other Side herself. Hold the Power button to transfer yourself to the Other Side. While on the Other Side, The Priestess is invisible to Survivors from the Realm of Entity and both sides cannot interact with each other. The Priestess can still transfer additional Survivors to the Other Side in this state, but the transfer has a considerable delay.
The Priestess cannot maintain connection to the Other Side for a long time. After transferring a Survivor to the Other Side or entering it Yourself, Power gauge begins to deplete. Hitting a Survivor while Power gauge is depleting refills half of the Power gauge. Once it’s fully depleted, everyone affected is brought back to the Realm of Entity.
Hold the Power button while on the Other Side to cancel Your power earlier.
Power: Cursed Tattoo
Survivors that make contact with The Priestess or enter the Other Side receive a Cursed Tattoo. Cursed Tattoo slowly expands while Survivors are on the Other Side or rapidly expands when they’re attacked by the Priestess.
Once Cursed Tattoo fully expands:
- Survivor permanently enters the Other Side;
- Survivor cannot interact with Generators;
- Survivor cannot be attacked by The Priestess while she’s in the Realm of Entity;
- Survivor can be killed by The Priestess while in healthy or injured state.
Survivors permanently trapped on the Other Side do not deplete the Priestess’ Power gauge and are not brought back if Power gauge is depleted.
Rite of Stakes
While The Priestess is in the Trial, 4 Shrines spawn in the Trial Grounds.
Survivors can interact with the Shrines. After interacting with a Shrine, it cannot be interacted with again for a period of time.
After interacting with a total of 4 Shrines, every Survivor’s Cursed Tattoo expansion is reduced by half of its current progress, all Shrines are refreshed and The Priestess’ Rite of Passage is ended immediately.
Perk 1: Hex: Broken Soul
After a Survivor is rescued from a Hook, if there is a Dull Totem remaining on the Map, this Hex is applied to it.
The rescued Survivor suffers from Broken Status Effect and receives 5/10/15% penalty to Repairing speed as long as the related Hex Totem is standing.
Survivors can see Auras of their related Hex Totems within a range of 12 metres.
Survivors can only be affected by one Totem at a time.
If Survivor dies or escapes while cursed by Broken Soul, related Hex Totem is destroyed.
Perk 2: First Blood
You become obsessed with one Survivor.
Your first basic attack in the Trial applies Deep Wound Status Effect to the Survivor and they become Your Obsession.
Auras of Survivors that have lost their Obsession status are revealed to You for 5/7/10 seconds.
You can only be obsessed with one Survivor at a time.
Perk 3: Thorny Road
Hitting a Pallet or Locker with Your basic attack puts Thorns on them for 40/50/60 seconds.
Survivors that interact with objects that have Thorns on them take one Health State of damage and destroy the Thorns.
You can only put Thorns on 3 objects at a time.
Survivor: Rei Kurosawa
Lore: N/A
Legendary Skin: Kei Amakura
Perk 1: Fatal Frame
After avoiding 3 attacks by a nearby Killer, break into a sprint at 150% of your normal running speed for a maximum of 3 seconds. If activated while Exhausted, recover 50% of Exhaustion instead.
Activates in Chases only.
Breaking into a sprint causes the Exhausted Status Effect for 60/50/40 seconds.
You cannot break into a sprint when Exhausted.
You do not recover from Exhaustion while running.
Perk 2: Stone Mirror
When Killer attempts to kill You, stun the Killer for 3 seconds and gain Protected Status Effect for 40/50/60 seconds.
While Protected:
- You cannot be killed by the Killer;
- You lose the Obsession status;
- all other perks are disabled.
Can only be used once per Trial.
Perk 3: Bravado
Bravado activates any time You are injured.
While Bravado is active, You fake a Healthy State for a total of 30 seconds.
While faking a Healthy State:
- You can use perks that require You to be in Healthy State;
- Grunts of Pain caused by injuries are reduced by 50% at any time;
- You appear as a Survivor in a Healthy State to the Killer (HUD-wise, perk-wise, Killer power-wise).
Bravado goes on 120/110/100 seconds cool-down once the total duration has elapsed.
