That is the only assumption i can make since you're portraying yourself as an inexperienced player.
Your perks are their to aid you, not hold your hand. If you can't play without perks, then the only logical assumption is that you are not very confident in your own skills as a player.
That fact that you think it's unbalanced is laughable. I have had no problem avoiding it, running from loop to loop, and escaping as had many others. The real issue here is that you believe you're better then you actually are, and relying on your perks has obviously deluded you from the clear fact that your not very good, hence why you're complaining about something so trivial.
