Window hitbox are becoming an issue...
I've noticed for a while that window hitboxes are really wonky, especially against specific killers such as freddy.
Standing there, freddy just hit me from the other side of the window, occured 3 times in this game. Was playing with a friend, and I noticed the same thing when spectating their game...
What's going on ? Will it ever be fixed ?

Meanwhile when I play killer, the survivor already gains invicibility-frames halfway through the fast vault-animation. So it has to be latency.
But the developers confirmed upcoming serverside hit detection, so survivors can enjoy their invulnerability while vaulting now!

Its latency goddammit, the devs already did a whole stream explaining how it works and how they plan to fix it.

I saw that and hope they do fix cause i've jumped through a windown and already about a yard or two away from it and then i get hit. Ugh. The worse feeling ever.

As survivor:
Gets hit on the other side of the window or pallet.
As killer:
Can't hit a survivor who is in the middle of medium vaulting a window.

Starting to be a problem? Hitboxes in general have been an issue for a long time now.

I had a match with The Hag and I fast vaulted got Lithe and then teleported backwards and was grabbed on the pallet 😂👍 but then I had matches as The Killer, and I know I grabbed someone off of a generator but then they start running.

My husband just had a match with a GF on the new map and he had already vaulted and touch the ground and started running only to be ported backup the stairs and pulled off the vaulting point

For me the game is really bad at letting hits connect that shouldn't when you as killer swipe at an angle. I've gotten lots of hits and seemed to get hit that way a lot. When it's clear the hit shouldn't count

It likely will be at the killers expense. Most of the time I am about to attack someone in a way I can just grab them (off a gen, off a window) it usually ends up in a hit. I've even gone through the animation of picking someone up off a gen and they just walk away. If they don't fix this mechanic but they still decide to fix the other problem it will only feel like a nerf to killers.

If the killer hits you as soon as the survivor lands and you're standing right besides the vault spot, it is possible to hit survivors through windows. That is within the hit range and the window isn't an invisible wall that attacks can't go through.
While there are definitely some latency problems, this effects both killers and survivors. As a killer I've picked someone off a generator for them to just run away. Just because you vaulted doesn't mean you get to be invisible.

Server sided hit detection will ruin killers completely. There is a reason other games don't use that anymore.
