Corrupt Intervention. I want to like it but...
I hate the fact it becomes useless after two minutes. It feels even worse if I fail to catch someone in that time.
I know it won't be changed but I wish it did something else after two minutes.
Just a crazy idea but, what if after two minutes. The entity would periodically block a random generater that was not being repaired for 10-20 seconds. Once released there would be a cooldown then another random generater would be blocked. This would just continue for the rest of the match.
Chances are this will end up being a perk for a future killer.

Well at least you know you are getting guaranteed value over these 2 minutes. You cant say that to all Hex perks like ruin. They can be destroyed 10 seconds in the match and then that perk is also useless.
So i think corrupt is fine because of that.

The thing with corrupt is that it's guaranteed 2 minutes of time. For set-up killers, that can win you games. For others, it forces people to hide for 2 minutes, or forces them into you. You get easy gen locks, or they've wasted 2 minutes doing no generators.

It's not as good as old ruin but it definitely has some value on some killers

To be honest, it would be cool if all gens were blocked and they had to use a flashlight to burn the claws off. Of course, the drawback is a guaranteed flashlight every game.

Even if it only lasts for 2 minutes, it is one of the strongest perks and doesn't need a buff. It isn't great on every single killer, but can feel almost necessary on trapper, hag, myers, and other characters that are extremely weak at the start.

I think some people simply think that Corrupt Intervention is a Ruin-Replacement, which it is not. Ruin is still a good Perk, so if someone wants a Slowdown, is good at applying pressure and does not mind having the risk that the Totem is gone after 20 seconds, then Ruin is better.
Personally, I see Corrupt Intervention as a Setup-Perk. I use it on Hag, Trapper and Myers to get some Trap-Setup or to force the Survivors in my direction to get out of EW1 ASAP. And if I got my Setup or my Stalk, I am happy with it and dont care that it is gone. It had its purpose for me at this point.

i use corrupt on everyone unless i know im taking people to a certain map for grabs etc. honestly is such a good perk, blocking 3 gens forcing everyone closer of them not doing anything, thats 2mins to get a hook for POP and cause pressure or to remove pallets for the later game, either way two mins is good. i do feel corrupt tier 1 might be default soon (that weird early game feature they talk about) and then change the actual perk, i do hope they make a better change but that would do tbh
