Who would even be the killer?
I haven't played the games yet but from my understanding it's some supernatural storm vs a lesbian with time powers and her friends? Who would be killing the survivors? I'd play as a storm but I don't think it's likely lol.

There is actually a killer in the game (Her powers are what drives the gameplay but the killer is the driver of the story).
I don't really see how any of it would work since her powers are primarily reversing time but sure, if BHVR could figure it out, why not.
I'm not gonna hold my breath for it though

Ah ok, I really should play those games.
Maybe time powers in an area? Force you backwards in time while the killer walks through the area? Gen slow down power? There's ways to incorporate time powers but I don't know the exact extent of hers though.

I would highly recommend LiS (and the prequel Before the Storm) if you like adventure style games (specifically what Telltale did). I didn't love LiS2 but it was also solid. Before the Storm was the real surprise as usually I hate prequels but I dare say it was the best of the 3 games.
There are certainly ways you could incorporate Max's powers as a survivor (maybe a healing perk like self care where you "rewind time" to before you were hit) if BHVR really wanted to try to fit her in.
Honestly though, you'd probably be better off not even trying to squeeze the killer in as they are super generic and really more of a McGuffin in the game to drive the story forward rather than someone who is actually engaging or interesting to deal with. They've done it before with Ash Williams so it's not unprecedented that they would do a survivor-only DLC.

I loved Tales from the Borderlands, and I did play like 30 minutes of the first game years ago so I'm going to try them out eventually.
I was kind of hoping for a killer only DLC to balance out Ash and Bill tbh.

Tales from Borderlands is like...my third favorite Telltale game so you made a good choice (Walking Dead Season 1 being undisputed King and Batman Evil Within being my 2nd choice)

That's why I think it would make a better "Survivor Only" DLC if they did it. The killer in LiS is just....boring. There's also the pretty questionable content of what exactly he does with his young college girl victims before murdering them (I don't believe the game ever outright says he sexually assaulted them but it seemed heavily implied to me).
Although I guess we do have Freddy "It is also heavily implied he sexually assaulted kids" Krueger so maybe that wouldn't be a big issue. I feel the biggest issue with him would just be from a gameplay perspective as they are just a pretty run of the mill murderer rather than having anything unique or interesting about them (I don't know why I'm still being coy about who the killer is considering multiple people have already said his name but whatevs...)

I really like LiS but it isn't a horror genre. I can't imagine this universe in horror setting. But if you wanna play Chloe's character - just pick Nea. Hah. 😁

With the remake Freddy it seems to even go beyond heavily implied. That's why I never understood why people thought he was cool or something. He's interesting,but he's definitely a bad guy. Jason at least you can sorta have some sympathy for. Freddy is just sick. A child killer at best. Michael Myers was obviously mentally ill,and if you go by the remake,a victim of abuse.
That doesn't have much to do with the conversation,I just got to thinking lol. Im with you. He's just not interesting. I almost forgot all about it until someone brought it up. I like remembered the bathroom scene...and then had to think for a bit about the rest. There's no visual impact or anything. I guess maybe a survivor would be cool. I'm pretty sure it would have to be Max. I just personally think it's kind of dated,and it doesn't have the excuse of being from something iconic like Silent Hill. I'd rather see something from FNAF,and I hate that idea lol.
