Yep, that's it, I'm taking a break from killer
The patch has made playing killer infuriating. Can't hear survivors. Can't hear generators. Survivor scratch marks are bugging out. Grabs are still not fixed. Every map is either the best RNG for survivors with strong loops all stacked together or every area ends up being a dead zone. The new map is god awful to play on. And when you get down to the last 2 survivors on the map they just hide & don't do crap. Pyramid Head is meh, with a crap ranged attack. Only good thing he does is offer you the ability to save time in hooking.
I don't blame others for saying screw killer at the moment. It is not fun & almost every match is a gen rush at high ranks. Only way to win is to be a try hard, & I don't feel like investing all this energy into winning when survivors barely break a sweat & can make a plethora of mistakes yet still escape. And yeah I know steps have been made to try to balance out the game more recently, but every time one thing gets fixed it seems several other things break. Might play killer only for daily's, but as of right now I'm done with this mess until theres some fixes.

Get good lol

Yep, if you can't play with buggy gameplay it just means you're trash at the game

Ok sure

I give up playing killer too. Not because of bugs, but because of ######### cheaters.
I went against a Nea today who was cheating in the game. I tried to hit her several times but it didn't register, she kept running through walls and midair. It was honestly the worst experience I've had as a killer.
I know it was the only one Nea but I've seen a lot of videos lately on DbD of people cheating on the game and it's making me worried to continue playing killer.
As of now, until EAC has been improved and most of the killer bugs have been fixed (particularly Clown's slowdown bug), I won't be playing as killer.

The best part is people are still trying to abuse these bugs and make things harder for killer. Yesterday I had 2 Ormond offerings a swamp offering and 3 Haddonfields.

The patch released a killer sided map after "infinites" (which haven't existed since 2016 shack) got nerfed.
The sounds are bugged. That's just it. Grabbing is bad on both sides.
I've been grabbed after leaving a generator countless times.

Back. There was some challengers here and there but in the end felt like a normal game. Only used nurses calling and bbq for tracking.
Got a 3k again 2 red ranks and 2 purple ranks.
So as I said before, get good lol.

Isn't funny how whenever there is a major problem that affect survivors it gets fixed right away?
3 -
Until sounds are fixed I think the TR should've turned off. Let's see how long survivors keep playing.

That's why I play as the Spirit, my nerve cells restored quickly after I started maining her. I mean, nerve cells do not restore after dying but still.

If you're playing killer for daily's that kind of implies you're still going to be playing killer every day bud.

And how do we know that you are not lying about it? And like @Sairek said before, don't just play one game.
0 -
Fine I guess I'll play a few more.
0 -
Not necessarily. I used to okay killer full time. I gave up DBD since January. I'll come back if Ruin is changed back or early game is fixed. People DO give up and stop spending money on this game until there is positive change.

How strange, I tried, and I listen to people on the floor, injured and everything normal, I do notice anything, I am always attentive to the sound and nothing happened to me

I play almost exclusively killer and these sound bugs I've been hearing about haven't actually hurt me at all. I hear footsteps most of the time and I've never seen a survivor jump out a window and not grunt and I haven't had any silent slugs. Is it situational or just some games and I'm lucky?
Also, in my experience gen rushing doesn't really happen. At least when you have decent slow down perks. Corrupt and pop being the best obviously

Yeah haven't had these sound bugs much but did have a game where I was patrolling gens listening for any progress and not hearing any chugging and just as I'm walking away from one it pops.
3 -
oof that could not have felt good lmao

I just hope the devs aren't taking any type of killer-based efficiency data to make any serious adjustments with these sound bugs in play.

survivor mindset right here.

Taking a break can be healthy. I've been there. Nothing wrong with that.

You're not alone. I'm a casual player and in-between work and parenting I only have a few hours a day to play this game, but I still try to do a fair juggling act with killer and survivor. While the grind for perks is atrocious, I still have a lot of fun with this game. I've played long enough to actually get somewhat decent at the game. But all of that progress is rendered useless since the current matchmaking system can match very experienced players against novice players. Because of this I get really apprehensive about playing killer matches. So I think I too will take a break until the new matchmaking system is implemented.
Why bhvr never incorporated a matchmaking system years ago that measured skill and not numbers I'll never understand.

I'm back and as I thought, only a few challenges in each game. I was able to play 5 games.
Game 1: 2k against swf red ranks
Game 2: 3k against 3 red ranks and 1 purple rank
Game 3: 4k against red ranks
Game 4: 4k against green ranks
Game 5: 3k against another swf red ranks
So get good lol

Hey buddy you didn't answer his question, and it is one of vital importance where is the proof.

you also made a post asking DS to be removed
so you aren't one to tell others to get good lol

If survivor had all the game breaking bugs killer did, they'd ######### a brick. The forums would be flooded with posts every 15 mins. Keyboards, mouse's, and controllers destroyed world wide. Total chaos!

Wah wah, devs added in an overpowered killer and a very killer sided map. IM QUITTING KILLER FOREVER

For someone sarcastically complaining about whining your whining in this very same post about PH.

I haven't experienced the sound bugs because I quit killer but a ton of people have been complaining. If it's true then im glad I already quit.

To be fair I know I was burning Haddonfield offerings so I could do the fall from a great height challenge. Others could be doing that.

I'm right there with you. I'm selling my xbox to get a switch. Then it's Super Mario's Odyssey from here on out!

I wouldn't be so quick to call the new map killer-sided. It definitely has a lot of weak pallets overall. I have seen strats where the killer only patrols the top floor as to keep a strong 3-4 gen going. But the map is massive. There are also a bunch of god pallets in certain areas. There are some god windows in areas (can be weakened a bit by breakable walls). And if survivors are immersed then finding them is a pain in the ass. Survivors with OoO on that map can also be quite lethal, especially if they're a SWF. I honestly don't think it is balanced to one side or the other. It's terrible for everyone (besides Nurse, I think she wrecks on this map).
Not really. I said I MAY play for a killer daily, not that I would. It all comes down to if I just want the bloodpoints or not. I'm still leveling up Cheryl so I mean I'll play a quick killer game just to do the daily if need be, but I'm not gonna try for a win. Probably just farm the daily tbh.
