Can't play game as survivor, instant tunneled to death every round literally
since new update I start near the killer every round and literally every round I'm tunneled instantly and killed. I mean 20 plus rounds in a row - I can't even play the game. I don't get it, I've played this game quite a bit and it's never been like this.

we could offer help if you tell us more. what perks do you use, what do you do once spawned in, etc.

If you can loop properly, it shouldn't be an issue. The rest of the game is holding M1 anyways, so you aren't missing much

some people can't loop to well like me weren't loop not meant for the game so why is it a must now?
btw i'm mostly stealth

Stealth only gets you so far. Being at least somewhat competent at looping is mandatory, especially since any good killer will see that you aren't good at looping and capitalize on it to get a survivor out of the game early.

I mean, they could easily just be a p3 gendette and get along fine as long as they stayed hidden.

looping is great, so is urban but it's not about perks, it's about starting right by killer every round and being targeted while everyone else is ignored. I literally cant even get to a gen or hide or anything. it's like the rest are invisible. ive tried stealth perks, ds isn't helping because they let it time out. it's like a game bug or something, really weird. hasnt been an issue in 500 hours of gameplay now suddenly it's 20 plus rounds and unplayable. I can't figure it out, playing with meg, no reason to target

I had a run like that. Every match, 20 seconds in, the killer would find me,no matter what i did so don't worry, it happens.
One thing though.... How can the killer be tunneling you if they let DS time out? You mean they down you and stay there for 60 seconds?
1 -
yeah down me. and any time i'm unhooked it's immediately in front of killer and no BT.

If the killer is letting it time out, they arent tunelling. Heal up and go hide.

That's not tunneling.
That's bad team mates and possibly hook farming.
Tunneling is when a killer commits to you and only you despite lost chases or major over commitment in time. Or hooknig you and only you. No one else so that you'll get to third hook quickly as possible. What you described is not respecting the TR/killer presence by your fellow team members.
Of course they're going to down you. A down/slug is increased survivor pressure because now 2 survivors are off gens-one to heal you and one he is chasing-

Be stealthy, dont be the first one downed. Stop working on a gen as soon as you spawn in

Me as a Killer: "Dammit, did all 4 survivors spawn across the map AGAIN?!"
Me as a Survivor: "Dammit, did I spawn right next to the killer AGAIN?!"

People have this notion that stealth gameplay means your hiding in a locker all game doing nothing. So long as your doing objectives there is nothing wrong with stealth.
Like many have said already.
Spine Chill to get a warning when the killer is coming to you. It's also in every survivors bloodweb from the start.
Urban Evasion so you can try to sneak away before he gets to your gen.
Iron Will can help if your injured but your also bleeding so they can follow that.
Inner Strength so you can heal yourself or bond so you can find someone else to heal you. If you don't have those perks SC can work but it takes a good while to heal yourself. Medkits are great.
An exhaustion perk is pretty much a must on all survivors. If your going to try to urban evs away, I suggest you pair it with Sprint Burst. That way if the killer see's you hiding you can take off to a pallet. I don't suggest trying to sneak hide from a billy, bubba or Oni with his power. If they find you hiding in a corner and block your exit, that's a free one shot for them.
As much as I hate the perk, Decisive Strike is a god send for killers tunneling you off the hook. I only equip it if I'm being tunneled off the hook often. Otherwise I don't run it because I feel it's a crutch perk. Before you survivor mains judge me know that I rarely run NOED on my killers for the same reasons.
