Spirit bug while using Yamaoka's Haunting

I was travelling using Spirits ability and knew someone was on a gen so I went behind them and cancelled Yamaoka's Haunting and instantly grabbed the player off the gen however during animation the game bugged out and I was no longer to interact with anything for the rest of the game. I couldn't put them on hook, drop the survivor or break pallets etc. I could only M1 attack. Made the rest of the game completely unplayable.
This has only happened to me once but I'm sure it could probably be re-produced if the circumstances were right.
