PS4 - survivor disconnected from host, could see killers perks while match still going

I was playing SWF with one teammate, we were on the Torment Creek map against the Plague. I had died first and was spectating. My teammate was disconnected from host and received the couple minute penalty. Before he saw he received a penalty he thought the killer had disconnected because my teammate received his blood points from the match and kept the item he'd found in a chest while the killer was shown to have 0 points and he could see the killers perks. At the time he could see the killers perks I was spectating the killer chase, down, and mori another survivor.
