Killer's like these give Killers a bad rep

Story Time: I solo queue as a survivor almost all the time since I only play with my friends in kill your friend lobbies. While leveling Cheryl who I got to p2 Level 50 I decided to use the one bloody party streamers I had along with a yellow toolbox with sabo addons to get boldness as I don't want to rely on totems or being chased to generate enough to max out that category. I also ran Autodidact (Tier 3), Decisive Strike (Tier 2), Head On (Tier 2), and We're Gonna Farm Forever (Tier 1).

Lobby- I sit there making sure I have everything I need to get the most points possible, and no communication in the chat box which is normal for solo :(.

Loading Screen- There's my Bloody Party Streamers, an Ormond Offering, a random Bloodpoint offering, and a Secret Offering from the killer (Ebony Mori).

Game- I actually recorded that whole game when I clipped it using shadowplays but essentially I'm running around farming off of hooks away from the killer which at no point did I try to go for a sabo save :(

When I rotate through the center of the map I hear Freddy following me rather than continuing to pressure a corner gen which is smart. As I passed by the lockers in the ground floor of the main building I decided to try and use my head on since I didn't think I was going to have a better chance later in the match and just wanted to mess around as I didn't think it was an Ebony Mori at the time. I go to get in a locker but discover my teammate (A Nea who was injured was already hiding in it). I don't want her going down so I do a fast entry into a locker to get aggro on me. I then Head on Freddy and immediately vault the window. As he rotates around to chase me from a closer door, the Nea stuns him as well with Head On which causes me to laugh and then take a protection hit for the injured Nea as he immediately started chasing her.

Continuing on the match he starts to immediately mori people with 2 generators left and having only hooked everyone once. He downs me in the center building and slugs to get the other Nea which I'm fine with, I had fun and got wglf stacks as well as a good amount of bloodpoints which was my goal. While he was mori'ing the Nea and breaking nearby pallets I decided to crawl down into the basement which he saw me go into. After I assume he finished breaking pallets and generators he came down into the basement and sat alongside me while I was bleeding out and just nodded which was funny at first but eventually just a time waster. Once I had a sliver of my bar left he proceeded to mori me.

Post Game- the Nea pointed out that it was unnecessarily toxic towards me, as I was typing out a message about how unintentionally funny the chain head on was since I didn't even know she had head on. The killer says "that's what you get for being toxic little #########."

Both the Nea and I ask how we were toxic, which is followed up by him saying "chain running head ons and #########."

I commented how the head on chain was unintentional (but it was hilarious since it was so unexpected).

Killer: stupid ######### head running swfs

me: didn't realize (nea) had head on

Nea: we aren't a swf

Killer: yea right

Nea: I don't know (Me)

Killer: ######### you bitches

Me: I'm solo queuing <insert word "buffoon"> (If that is offensive then I'm not sorry cause its not to the level of what the killer said.)

Nea: head on isn't a toxic thing

Killer: head on is toxic af

Then unfortunately my clip stops but it just goes back and forth until the killer says "uninstall lyfe" which I interpret as a way of saying a not nice thing.

Story time over:

Basically, killer's like these shape peoples perceptions of killers as a whole just as the same thing happens with toxic survivors. I don't think people can disagree :) That killer certainly made it more unlikely that myself or the Nea would really view other killers in the same way.

TL;DR

Ebony Mori on the first hook Freddy with Paintbrush and the very rare addon (Swing chains or something) got Head on stunned twice (Twice in the whole match) and proceeds to bm before mori'ing the last survivor (me) and throws insults in post game.

I just had a game where i was level 50 about to P1 Cheryl with my last BPS and this dumbass PH with the premium skin brings a mori lol.

It is what it is. Doesn't "killers" a bad name it just means that guy in particular sucked. If you ONLY play killer or ONLY play survivor then you probably suck to play with you know?

I was thinking more along the lines of survivor/killer interaction and how toxicity can shape perceptions. After a game like that its harder for me to know whats considered toxic by killers when stuff like "head on is toxic" is thrown around.

Lol if head on is toxic then he was even more toxic than you by using these add-ons and mori...

Yeah I understand that but it was two stuns, once during the entire match.

Sounds like that killer was just salty. I'm sure there are plenty of people who are in a swf but pretend they aren't. I believe your story that the chain head on was unintentional. I think we should be allowed to see who is in a swf "at the end of a match". Not before. People would just lobby dodge if they could see that loading in. I wouldn't mind seeing if 4 people were a swf then I wouldn't feel so bad if I got wrecked. Or id feel better if I 4ked them >.>

Yeah, I don't consider Head On stuns to be toxic. The Killer probably just got wrecked by a 4-man SWF the game prior and took it out on you guys.

@EvilJoshy I really like this idea! Why not, right? It would give you the info at the end of the match where it'll either console you (as Killer) or, if you did really well, even empower you. Seems like a win-win to me.

@th3 I'm not really sure why but I've been seeing more of this type of behavior lately. For example, I had a game last night where the Killer (Plague) ran some of her best add-ons (no issue with that) and then proceeded to slug everyone on the team; there was a moment of hope when one of the 3 random slugs popped Unbreakable but alas! it was futile. As we all crawled around waiting to be hooked she just walked between all of us on the ground nodding until we bled out. I know she wasn't getting many BPs from doing this. She, of course, was using a slugging build complete with Deerstalker, Infectious Fright, Knockout, and Distressing. I get it, you're obviously a better Killer than we are Survivors (as suggested by the huge disparity in rank); just kill us and move on, right? Why the overt toxicity?

A lot of killers are really immature. Hell most of the community is immature. People need to stop treating the game like a life style and grow thicker skin. I don't care about getting t-bagged at exit gates or whatever because I do it too. A lot of "toxicity :(((" is just people being an ass for fun. Games where we throw but have a bunch of fun are infinitely better than 3 gens done before the first hook.

You had 2 gens left. Of course he was going to start using his mori. If he waited until 1 gen was left that's just begging for half you to get away as it suddenly pops and people hope/adrenaline away.

But he does sound salty. I hate head on. It has no real counter and its range is silly to the point I've bene head on cleary meters or far outside the range of the front of the locker but end game chats like this is what make the community just generally more miserable and salty for everyone.

I'm not bothered by the mori as my goal was just getting my stacks and max boldness from sabo'ing, but when he sat next to me nodding for almost 3 minutes (having been slugged for about a minute while he broke pallets and gens which I don't care about) that kinda crosses the line.

Pretty much this. Head on is one of the most annoying things you can do to a killer. Im not saying it was cool to let you bleed like that, but i absolutely get his frustration. Its also why i giggle everytime i head on stun the killer, i know they just let out a nice long curse word

How can a perk or offering be toxic those are thing i cant understand what is toxic is the chat and the killer/survivor behavior in the game

His frustration is understandable though. One Head On is already annoying as hell, so imagine two back-to-back.
