Anyone else taking another break from DBD?

I was already well on my way to taking a extended break from this game. But thought “Silent Hill Chapter should be awesome!” so I held out for it. Only for it to be one gigantic turd covered in glitter!

And then to add insult to injury....

  1. Further sound bugs Like who would’ve thought they could make the audio even worse.
  2. A killer that promotes tunnels with zero negative. Because we all know 3v1 is much easier.
  3. A map that’ll be heavily complained about by toxic SWF just give it a month or two.
  4. A anniversary event that doesn’t even sound all that great. Or is that just me?

Here I thought with them implementing map balancing was to make sure any new map doesn’t need a rework later on down the track...... YET HERE WE ARE.....

Throughout all these complaints on the forums and by well known streamers we have still had ZERO acknowledgement from BHVR. A simple “hey guys we hear your complaints we’re looking into xxxx we’ll keep you updated”

BHVR priorities are severely backwards other things seem to be more important instead of focusing on how broken the game is. Match Making, Sounds, Maps, Gameplay mechanics, killers and anything else i’m forgetting.

    I am not because:

I dont use earphones so sound wasnt that all important to me anyway

I actually have a lot of fun playing the killer ( I dont tunnel)

I actually really like the map, it looks so cool even when the gameplay isnt that all that great

I dont mind an anniversary event that isnt good, everyone should be happy they actually did something then doing nothing

    Yes actually.

Too many little frustrating things building up that make me want to quit.

My play went from a lot to very little due to what you have above. When every match is frustrating or buggy, I was like why the heck am I doing this to myself. This is supposed to be fun.

I feel like I've been on break since the nurse rework. I only jump on if a friend wants to swf or if a new killer comes out. I get them to 40 in like 2 days and then I play something else.

I was in a swf and we played all day for 2 days. We had two reds, a green and a brown rank. Literally every killer we got was above rank 16 and a newbie. I get the feeling a lot of people are taking a break. I don't care what the numbers say. For 2 whole days we only got baby killers. We live in the US and we were playing from like lunch to midnight. Which is usually when most gamers are active. It feels like the veteran killers have had enough.

I don't know. I bought a bunch of killers that I want to try out, but I'm constantly getting matched against red rank SWF. Trying out new stuff is fun, but when every match is a guaranteed loss, it's bittersweet.

While there are noticeable bugs here and there, none of them significantly decrease the fun I'm having.

I had fun playing the new map as Freddy on saturday, and I had fun escaping the new map as Zarina on sunday.

It was cool actually waiting 3-4 minutes for killer matches again.. I like that more people are playing. Looking forward to the event and might even skip work friday.

That's what I don't understand. SWFs claim the killer is learning by getting the crap kicked out of them. If your playing Call of Duty and you spawn in the path of a bullet. How are you learning to play the game?

Yeah playing any game against someone who has a magnitude of hours more into the game doesn't teach you much. I remember getting matched up against Scott Jund (I was rank 13 or 10?), and i was just completely baffled. He seemed to move faster than every other player I've faced before, and it was literally impossible to catch him. Killers will learn pallet spawns EVENTUALLY, but getting hit by them over and over doesn't instantly make you a god killer

I stopped playing killer actively a while ago due to the bugs and maps, probably 80-20 survivor nowadays, but still both at red rank

i stopped because the map design, additions such as breakable wall to shack, a killer who can negate the perks added specifically to counter being tunneled to death, countless bugs and more

i boot up DBD, sit at the menu for a few minutes contemplating if i actually wanna play, then close it and play something else

Currently in the middle of one right now.

If I do turn on the game the second it starts being frustrating I'm out that beyotch quick as hell. Some nights are actually fun and the game is cooperative and I'm having a good time. Others I can barely blink twice in a match.

100% the same. I feel so burned out on DbD because of the 3 rifts I played in the last year. I really hate the grind for it.

Maybe I'll just play occasionaly, but since I don't give a crap about most of the stuff in the rift (the recolored charms) and since you can later buy the skins anyway, I'm taking a break.
