Talking to a few of my friends, they seem to be having trouble with some of the Archives challenges, specifically the “complete in one match” challenges.
I wanted to create a thread of sharing tips and asking for help so here goes.
What I’ve learnt:
”Hit 5 Survivors in a single use of Feral Frenzy”
- Bring duration add-ons
- If you manage to get all 4 survivors into the deep wound state, just hit the last survivor again, even if they haven’t mended, it still gives the challenge.
Hooking the obsession x times (not in one match)
- Using Nemesis/Furtive Chase/Make Your Choice is really good for this!
”Finish the trial with no more than 1 remaining survivor/ survive while using x perks”
- This is not the adept achievement, you are able to use a fourth perk alongside the required ones.
“Unhook a survivor who unhooked you earlier in the trial x times”
- Generally keeping track is a good start but Aftercare and Borrowed Time are really good.
”Perform coop actions for x seconds”
- Bond/Better Together are great, Prove Thyself gives a bonus while doing gens.
”Hide within 10m of the killer without being caught for x seconds and then escape”
- I haven’t got anything concrete for this, if someone could help that would be great.
- Sprint Burst/Urban Evasion or Fixated/Iron Will
- Darker clothes are going to help. You can get the common ones from the store for a small amount of Iridescent Shards/Auric Cells
- Maybe even Object of Obsession or Blood Amber (Key addon) could help?
- You could use a locker build- not sure if it works with the challenge but a good head-on build may do some justice.
- Dance with Me/Lithe could let you escape and then trail back after the killer.
- Diversion and Red Herring could allow you to manipulate where the killer goes so you get more time to hide next to them.
- Diversion and Stake Out give bonuses for being in the killer terror radius so even they are viable.
