Also weird how there wasn't an announcement about the start on twitter at least.

Two people in my lobby brought the cakes for extra bloodpoints. I only got the bonus from BBQ and Chili but no bloodpoints from the cakes. Does it work differently?

The offerings as a whole are buggy. One time I bought BPS and it didn’t even get used. It wasn’t wasted thankfully but even though it showed on leaderboard that I bought it, it had no effect whatsoever.

I mean, you are going to get a lot of lobbys with 5x Cakes so I don't think a bloodhunt really matters in this circumstance.

Also, do licensed survivors get the crown too? Some people are saying they don't.

I assume the bloodhunt will come in when the event has officially started. The licensed surv and killers do not get crowns unfortunately. In 1.5 mil from level 1 to 48 I managed to get 31 event cakes on Zarina so I am more than chuffed. The event shaping up to be good

lol bloodhunt in waaaaay better than cakes. You have to waste bloodpoints to level up and obtain these cakes in the first place. You may not even get that many of them so I'd imagine a lot people won't bother. Bloodhunt is always going to be in effect every game so you don't have to waste bloodpoints and you can spend them how you'd like.

I've escaped with both Feng & Dwight now and have the cosmetic on them.

What do I need to do just escape ?

Escape while having the crown (symblized by a golden glow around your character)
Also only Original Survivors, no Licenses

I don't know if anyone answered but just in case. They have a thing on their site. I just googled "DBD 4th anniversary event". The items are log in bonuses. Looks like you get one every two or three days,8 in total. The first is a Deathslinger head. To get the crown you have to interact with a totem thing with the crown on top. It makes you glow? I guess. Then it says you have to finish the trial as killer,or escape with survivor while the glow is active.

You will get a crown for:
Meg, Dwight, Claudette, Jake, David, Nea, Ace, Feng, Jane, Yui, Zarina, Jeff, Adam, EDIT: Kate
Trapper, Wraith, Hillbilly, Nurse, Hag, Huntress, Doctor, Clown, Spirit, Plague, Oni, Legion and Deathslinger
So you won't get a crown for:
Bill, Laurie, Quentin, Ash, Nancy, Steve, Cheryl, Tapp
Michael, Leatherface, Pig, Freddy, Demogorgon, Pyramid Head, Ghostface
if I don't happen to forget one.
@kazakun I was refering to the quoted comment with only those survivors, since the commenter said, what happens if he doesn't have any original characters, by saying, he will be able to unlock them on 6 survivors atleast
