Flashlight blind does not cause killer to drop survivor

The hillbilly downed a survivor on the basement stairs, me being the sweaty survivor I am sprint bursted to the killer with my flashlight and received the "killer blind +400" as well as saw the visual indication the killer was blinded. The killer never dropped the survivor and continued towards the hook and hooked the survivor.


I only have a screenshot of the post game. was too shocked that the blind didnt go off to screenshot it.

    Was it during the pickup animation? If you blind too early the killer will not drop the survivor.

    Flashlight timings during pickups have to be so precise to work. Too early and you will just get the blind without getting the save. Too slow and the killer can look away the second the are able to move. It sounds like you simply did not time the flashlight correctly. I've seen a few flashlight saves take place today alone. Nothing is likely bugged with this.
