Decisive strike or dead hard?
Welcome to my new question series called this or that.
so, decisive strike or dead hard if you had to choose one.

I don't run either.
But if I had to choose, I would choose Dead Hard just because Decisive Strike is disgustingly broken, and requires absolutely no effort to abuse.

DS has a lower bar for success and has its uses.
DH gets me more free hits as a killer by poor timing/misuse than people who use it well to escape.
I'd say DS from a utility point but draw it out early and its gone.

DS.
I suck big time at Dead Hard and constantly see people use it - get no effect from it - but still get exhausted. No thank you.

Then get good and stop relying on BS perks that punish the killer for doing nothing wrong.

Then get good and stop relying on BS perks that punish the survivors for doing the objective in an optimal way=N.O.E.D. Nothing wrong? Tunneling is nothing wrong huh?

DS because as long as killers can have the ability to Camp/Tunnel, it won't stop them from doing it by not having it.

DS easily, Dead Hard is pretty eh unless you are greeding a lot. DS is maybe the best survivor perk in the game.

Well that was an aggressive reply considering I was just answering the OPs question...and I don't run either of these perks rn?

Probably ds. I understand it CAN be misused, but it really sucks to get tunneled immediately off the hook by a camping killer. Then its game over for you. dead hard is great when it comes through, but very unreliable in it's current state.

You must have fans in these forums. They didn't even give a response to the OP, instead judged someone else's opinion. lmao

it's weird cause i started running dead hard this past week and out of the 10 times i've used it about 8 of those times were successful.
I know i keep hearing from people that it's unreliable but works fine for me. I put the camera behind me and when i see that the monster is about to hit me i press B and it just works. The problem is that if i'm not near anything i'm going down anyways.

DH
Considering has more than 2 uses and grants you distance to windows and pallets
Plus killer can just slug to rob you from ds.

There are dozens of perks and add ons that help getting out of tunneling. You don't want DS so you can stop tunneling. You want it so you can superbone the killer in any given situation and single handedly flip games by passing one check. How many times do I have to let someone crawl out of gate because they have DS and I downed them but can't do ######### for 60 seconds? How many times do I have to watch 2-3 people get unhooked and escape right in front of me as a whiff every hit due to borrowed time because one guy got off my back using DS? DS is literally the survivor stabbing the killer and resetting a chase completely at best or being totally defeated in numerous scenarios at worst. It's not a fun perk. It doesn't take skill to use. It's stupid and you're a bad person if you run it. Even worse when 2-4 people in a group are running it and flaunting it in my face. Then survivors like you expect to just hop away and finish your gen and waltz right out and if I do any serious counter to it you whine and cry in the comments.
Inb4 "that's not me" - that's totally you. I've never run across an exception to this.
"but NOED"
NOED should be a base part of the game. It shouldn't even be a totem. The fact you can crack a totem before it even lights off is broken. It's only a problem if you're teabagging scum and you're arrogant enough to let the killer get you at the very end.

I don’t run either really cause I hate meta perks but i’d have to say Dead Hard. It’s got multiple uses. Flashlight Saves. Dodging the killer. Dashing to a pallet. Avoiding a trap. Body Blocking.
And it’s also able to work multiple times unlike DS.
However a good DS can change the entire of a match not to mention waste a lot of the killers time. Paired with head on and Inner Strength DS becomes more of a stall perk for the killer.
Well i Still think Dead hard is a lot better and more fun to use.

DS. I always forget that I even have Dead Hard. I'll just use DS to counter tunneling though - I'm not gonna be up in the killer's face to get a stun.

I guess I have an effect on people 🤣

I cant really talk with someone who thinks that the perk which awards bad killers at the end should be part of the base game, sorry. I mean, noed is not really present in the red rank killers, most of the time, so i can easily say it's used mostly by noobs.

i run both tbh.-

The end game is the easiest part. If a 4 stack has made it this far then the killer is rarely going to get anyone at the end unless they made a build for this. 4 people could stack up on gate and take body shots without it and still get out.

DS can be better at lower ranks because nobody slugs at low ranks, but at high ranks it's not all that useful on its own and if the killer is actually good. Dead hard is equally brainless, can remove 1 mistake in a chase and almost every killer in the game has no counter to dead harding for distance to a window or pallet. Super fun and interactive, not BS in any way. So I would go with dead hard.

I'd run Dead Hard before DS
