Are your pallets/windows COMPLETELY unsafe in 4.0 patch?
Is it just me or is Spine Chill AND Resilience both need to play survivor for the new 4.0 patch?
. ive been playing consistently for a few days now and EVERY pallet/window i get hit on. I know this was an issue in the past but i think its back again
I been playing normally and then this patch comes along and Boom. This problem has been ruining chases for me.
.'The Resilient Chill' DOES Work. but I dont like using spine chill (because wheres the fun in knowing the suprise?) and i definitely dont like having to use 2 perks slots just to survive a chase normally.
am i the only one having problems with this?
(*please just answer the question. no one cares that spine chill/ resilience are your favorite perks*)

Starting to play survivor but i love Kate already. Windows of opportunity and dance with me allowed me to vault and lose pyramid head in The Game.
Try lithe and dance with me after you vault you get a speed boost and no scratch marks perfect for maze like tiles and the like.

Thanks .my favorite perks to use are Any means Necessary and Lithe. i had figured this combo out while trying to counter deathslinger.
So the windows/pallets do work for then?

Yeah though you need a fair bit of distance if the killer will hit you during the start of the pallet animation or in the small area after you land on the window. Ping also plays a factor since the server could register the killers action before yours.

I played killer quite alot the last few days, I found the quite opposite. Pallets have become extremely safe now.
For example before the patch, I found a neat little "trick", when a survivor was pretending to throw down the pallet, making me respect it, or camping the pallet trying to react to my swing, I basically did a quick swing (tapping M1 instead of holding it down), and I had something like ~50% success rate with that. I would often hit the survivor during the pallet throw animation.
However as soon as the patch hit, I could not do that trick anymore. It feels like the stun of pallet dropping is applied much earlier now, which minimises the chances of getting hit through it now. I noticed that especially on the quick palletdrop (when the survivor is not running, but walking or standing still).
I haven't had too much experience as survivor this patch to confirm that though.
