legions killer instinct doesnt always activate in event

two games in a row now, nobody had been hit by my feral frenzy, so i hit one person knowing full well theres a dwight around the corner but no killer instinct pop. I investigate and sure enough there was dwight. He had a crown aura though so maybe that has something to do with it. wish i recorded the occurrences but im on xbox
