Was there a mechanical reason for not allowing us to see people's steam ids?

Just had someone in my game using that no clip/speed hack, but because his name is in characters dead by daylight doesn't recognize (turns it to 4 little squares) I assume they're gunna be good to play like this as long as they like? Is there anything I can do in the future to report someone like this?

    It is a Bug.

    But you can see Survivors profiles. Go to Match Details in the Endgame Screen, there you can see the Survivors. Does not work for the Killer tho.
