CHAPTER 17: The Watcher In The Woods
New Killer: The Proxy - Tim Wright
Bio: At the early stages of his life, Tim had been haunted by dreams of a tall faceless entity. With age he grew more and more dissociated from his body now being pulled on like a puppet on a string by what he calls "The Operator". As a fellow entity of fear and terror, The Operator took this opportunity to send his little errand boy as a substitute for the slaughter that will commence in The Entity's little game.
(Disclaimer: I understand that it is established in the Marble Hornets universe that he isnt a proxy but In design choice, my interpretation of his situation and a little imagination based on the final episode from the series I feel its a good concept to work with)
Realm: Abandoned Forest Park
Weapon: Crowbar (Skins: [Rare] Rusty Pipe, [legendary] A severed arm, [uncommon] frying pan)
Power: Distortion - The Proxy unleashes a great burst of negative energy similar to a radioactive explosion, when a survivor is hit by this ability they will suffer from blindness and hindered for a short period of time. Those who worked or are working on a generator while the ability activated will get an additional stun and the generator worked on will be revealed but be blocked by the entity for a short while.
Perk 1: The forest speaks to me - The perk grants the killer with better sight on tracks the survivors leave behind. When upgraded it can show the location of the nearest survivor in a certain radius for 3 seconds.
Perk 2: Lingering fear - After the first encounter with The Proxy the survivors are more aware of their surrounds however their heartbeat and breathing are much more audible in a very close terror radius from the intensity and pressure in fear of coming across The Proxy.
Perk 3: The light wont faze me - When a survivor shines a flashlight to The Proxy he will still walk forward even though suffering from the blinding lights. On higher levels the blindness will be reduced to a maximum of 1.5 seconds
Memento Mori Animation: He bludgeons the survivor with the crowbar as he comes back to crush their skull with a big rock off the ground
With the reoccurring theme of the entity taking dead people and resurrecting them into his sadistic game of cat and mouse he's brought along Tim's old friend to suffer through more carnage.
New Survivor: Jay Merrick
Bio: A co-director for the film Tim Wright and his friends were part in, he had searched for answers as to the whereabouts of his fellow director and co workers after a strange disappearance at the shooting. As the saying went "curiosity killed the cat", Jay's snooping put him into many dangerous encounters and ultimately leading to his demise.
Perk 1: There must be clues - This perk allows Jay to search boxes for items to aid him and his allies much faster and more often than not give the item needed for the situation. e.g. A hurt survivor will give a better chance at a med kit, nearby generators will give a toolbox and the killer nearby will give a flashlight.
Perk 2: I've been sick before - The exposure to the negative energy from previous encounters strengthened his resistance from debuffs inflicted by killers, although resistant the longer he's exposed will reveal his location to the killer from his coughs and screams.
Perk 3: Give me a break - When become the obsession Jay is much more agile and can easily hide inside lockers sprint through obstacles and if timed right fool the killer into a dead end. Jay has a limited charge (minimum of 1) but when he isn't the obsession he regains lost charges.
