How do you mess up copying 103 to 104% this bad? There won’t be a weekend fix either.
We all know BHVR doesn’t fix things over holidays or weekends... or ever really. So this will make it a week into their “big anniversary event,” that one of the most basic things is still bugged.
I have asked before, how do they mess up this bad when it’s the same exact item as last year going from 103 to 104%

I am pretty sure they are fixed faster if another 20 people are pointing that out or complain about it.

It's harder than that clearly.

Most likely their next patch cycle has already started and it's easier to include that fix with the next patch than pushing the fix on its own, but whatever else is in that patch takes more time to be ready for release.

They said they knew where the fix was, and have fixed it, but it had to get through QA of Nintendo, Sony, and Microsoft (paraphrased from @Almo).

My prediction: Fix on Tuesday, extention of the event for one week.

My prediction fix it on Tuesday, no extensions since they let us “abuse the bug,” for a week

All 5 of us ran cakes last night one game. I got 30k that game. It made me very sad.
4 -
With their spaghetti code I can believe that lol

That's what sucks about them saying to "abuse" the 140%. Pretty much all 5 people are going to be running cakes at all times during the event, which would be 520%, but because they're bugged, not many people are and we lose out on that huge stacking bonus.
It's an overall net negative than it is a positive by far. I probably could've prestiged characters at least twice if they stacked properly. :(

"Take advantage of the bug!" is such a disingenuous thing for them to say. As soon as more than one person brings a cake you are losing out on BPs. If you don't bring a cake and one person does, that's more BPs you're losing out on. Fix the bug, extend the event, give us compensation.
7 -
I almost wanna say they are glad we can’t stack because that would give people enough BPs to earn all kinds of perks and stuff and cut down future grind.
1 -
But these cakes are the exact same offerings they've had before, just with an extra 1%. Those stacked just fine, so what gives with these?

Would it be a Christmas, Haloween or Lunar event i would just ignore it. But damn its the 4th year event.. the fact that the crowns are pretty much.. meeh. But also not having a reason to grind is so dissapointing.

They will probably release the patch next week and extend the event for a week
That seems plausible right?
2 -
I’ve gone in multiple games were everyone has used one and I just lold in sadness they don’t even work for that one person well I’ve used two and didn’t get any extra vloodpoints

Honestly knowing how bad they are at coding this thing they should have just rerelease last years item... I would rather have stacking 103 that works than bugged 104

Thanks for letting us """""abuse""""" the bug that literally gives us less bhvr!
If that's getting to abuse bugs then I'm ######### King Fiddledick III of cum mountain.

You must be new here.

This would be nice, people asking for straight up BP compensation is a bit much to ask for, but an extension of the event itself seems reasonable.

Yes my guess was correct.
That also probably means we aren't going to see the halos separated from being a head cosmetic. That really blows.
2 -
Would be really neat, if the just announced that, instead of giving us the silent treatment or we do it ASAP. Some info is all I want. Not some BS answers, that we can exploit the bug.
1 -
it is not even 140%
at least not for me. I don't know where this number was even noticed. I just get my BP doubled

Jesus may save but this is a godless game so things like pasting the code and making a 3 a 4 just cant happen. The entity don't like the idea of time passing so it's fouled this up.
