Sandbox mode instead of KYF

(This is a clone of my post in the Suggestions-Area, I also post it here to get more opinions about this idea)

Some friends and I talked a little bit about the KYF-Mode, while we played it. Of course KYF is more like a fun-zone, where you can try out things and do stuff you wouldn't do in a matchmaking, but that's not what the mode provides. At the moment (22.Jun.2020) you can en-/disable perks, Offerings and Items+Addons, and choose a map, instead of playing random.


What we were missing were more sandbox-like features:

  • Enable/Disable specific items and/or Addons(The lobby-owner can enable/disable items via a button on the bottom of said item in the loadout menu): For example we made the rule that you are not allowed to use a red or purple key in KYF as it can ruin the fun
  • Enable/Disable specific perks (see above): For example you can disable Franklins Demise specifically if you don't want Killers to use it
  • Variety in Spawn logic: You should be able to include/exclude Items from spawning in chests (for example Keys, see above), reduce/increase the amount of pallets in the world (Potencial pallet spots (Spots that Freddie can see when using Dream Pallets) contain a pallet or don't), Reduce/increase the amount of Vault-Spots, Be able to block certain Vault spots by the entity permanently (discussable)
  • Infinite Item duration: We often just practise Flashlighting in KYF, so if the flashlights could last forever, it would be more helpful


of course these options can all be turned off, so you could play a KYF- Round like the ones at the moment
