getting trapped in a cage of atonement

when playing a nea let go of the rescue just before it would save me and the cage disappeared but i was still trapped hovering in mid air. when it happens you wont die to the end game collapse and instead be stuck there in order to leave the trial survivor and killer has to dc otherwise it will not end
