Dead by Daylight Map Editor

I know a lot of people have talked about this before, but I just wanted to have my input as well.

A Dead by Daylight map editor would make a lot of people happy, including myself. Not only would it increase the game's community contribution, but it might even bring more people to the game because the addition of a steam workshop.

Since there would probably be no way to generate tiles on these custom maps, what if you could only play them on custom games? So, in the map options, there would be a second tab for workshop maps, therefor, you could only play them with your friends! So there would be no point in having random generation because it wouldn't be a regimental ranked game.

A cool idea also would be to have a vote every month to add a community map to the playlist. The developers could work with this person or just edit it themselves to have random generation work within it. This would both keep the game fresh and the community happy. (How cool would it be to play DBD at a real life place that you know?)

Now to the mechanics of the editor. Before editing a map, you have to choose a realm to get the type of tiles you want. So if I was going to make a farm map based in a town called "Norco" for example, I could choose the coldwind realm template so I could use tiles from those maps. (You can later change the realm name to whatever you want, this is just a tile set). Also, before uploading you must click the "verify" button. This will check how many pallets, windows, hooks, and generators are on the map. The verification will only pass if you don't exceed the variable limit for each of these.

Many games do it, Ark, Civilization, Warcraft 3, for the ones i played. But I know there is others Minecraft etc

I could see it coming in dead by daylight, I think it would be very cool and we can maybe download maps from fans in the internet. And maybe the devs could choose sometimes a map from fans and add it officially to the game.
