Why is it harder to get the survivor halo thing?

From what I've heard all you have to do as a killer is find the thing and then wait for the game to end, but as a survivor I have to fight other survivor who want the same thing, and THEN die and lose everything.

    They dont want people killing themselves on hook after getting the crown and ruining the match for everyone (yes, including the killer) like in previous events. Im solo surv main and its not hard to survive once the main issue is the random locations of the crown I guess with sfw its a much easier task

    Killers just have it easy because they have to balance setting some time aside to get the crown if they look for it which might lose them the match

    The devs should have just added a time challenge. Stay alive with the crown for 5 - 10 minutes or something like that. Would have made the event less painful for survivors.

    I think “harder” is a bit of a stretch. Yes you have to survive but it’s really not that difficult to obtain crowns.

    I agree but the concern of min-max survivors dying at the 5-10 min mark remains even right now killers are just "farming" being afk making survivors gen rush and triggering end game collapse juat to get their crowns. Dont get me wrong I personally would love this so I dont have to do 15 matches with my level 45 adam just to get the crown and never play adam again but Its not that hard getting the crown in your main survivors with perks and items and even easier with friends.
