If you were the killer in entity realm
So... if you were the killer, what power would you have?
I personally would probably make survivors dc when they see my face...

I've been sitting on a concept for a survivor turned killer who can perverse things that survivors could do. The power was Jerryrigging, which allows for various hook effects, totem traps, gen traps, etc. Unlike hope drained survivors who get turned into killers (which was an aspect of how killers were made from what the lore says), he/she was naturally sociopathic and preyed on fellow survivors in various ways. Thus the Entity turned him/her into a full fledged killer.

Did you just admit that you are a sociopathic person that prey on others?

Make survivors depressed and let them do all the work...
Yeh not the best idea... but had to relate it somewhere.

Aren't we all? Everyone has a line.
1 -
No, we're not.

Map wide terror radius. Survivors would never be at ease.

We all are, but our upbringing conditions us to see it as wrong. When pushed to our limits, sometimes that conditioning fails.

Except sociopaths have abnormal brain structures that resemble brain damage in key structures of the brain related to normal human emotions like empathy. So no, we're really not.

To murder people with lyrical words of wisdom... disproving all those that step to me. I'd also be half shark half alligator half man. I'd also shot killa bees to those that step to me before they check themself's. I'd actually be very op lol my bad

If i was the killer, i was already taking a nap, don't care about he survivors, especially with this gen speed

To answer the OP, I'm a bit of a pyromaniac, so I'd probably have some fire-related abilities. I'm thinking something with a flamethrower (or just shooting fire from my hands because that'd be about 10x cooler) that leaves behind fire surfaces not unlike the Executioner's trails, but they damage survivors.

Doesn't always have to be natural. Adverse experiences in life can cause mental breaking and turn people who were never naturally apathetic into sociopaths. Again, excessive stress can cause outlashes from anyone.

I don't think the Entity would like that.

"Breaks" and the coping mechanisms developed thereafter are not the same as sociopathy, though. Sociopaths are violent individuals, which is why, sooner or later, they land in prison.

Well to hopefully cheer things up slightly here's my very un-cheery take on it.
So imo my power would be taking something good and turning it bad. Example, trap gens for a certain amount of time to make survivors who work on them actually regress them, or trap hooks so instead of just unhooking someone, you take one point of damage. The trade off being that I physically can't run anywhere due to me having less than optimal stamina so I'd be a 110% at BEST. Also if a David has no shirt on I'd be physically incapable of harming him (but insta mori those with a shirt >:C)
Alternatively I'd ride around on a unicorn. I don't know what I'd do with it, but I would. Because, well, unicorns are cool.

While you are right about the first part, the second is not necessary true. If a sociophat was growing up in a good, healthy environment, he will be even able to somewhat process empathy. Even that his empathy would be compeltely different than of a healthy person.
Sociopaths will also have a moral system, which won't be based on consience, but just a strict set of rules that they will make themselfes.
When it comes to emotions... well, even the serial killer Icemen had them, mostly anger, which is suspected to be the case because of his environment, when he was a child, where he only could learn what anger and fear is.

So see if it like it:
I will take every gen in a single spot, and then destroy it and pulverize it to subatomic size

DSM-5 says sociopathy is characterized, among other things, by a lack of concern for others. That's lack of empathy in a nutshell.

I'd like necromantic powers or shadow related powers.

Well, a complete lack of concern for others is in fact characteristic for sociopaths that didnt grew up in a healthy environment.
DSM-5, if i remember correctly, the valid name is antisocial personality disorder, which requires genetic predispositions.
And when talking about sociopathy, im used to include all people with these predispositions... and tbh, i really like the fact that they have changed this disorder in such a way, that its no more includes all of them.

You may be thinking of psychopathy actually. From what I read, sociopathy tends to form from both social and environmental factors where psychopathy is biological or psychological. Meaning, psychopaths are natural born while socoipaths are molded from various factors.
