Cross progression?
Do anyone know when/ if cross progression will be a thing? I really want to transfer my progress from Xbox to switch at some point.

They've said they WANT cross progression, but haven't gotten permission yet. If they don't get permission they can't do it. Basically, once Cross Play becomes a thing, we'll still have to wait to see whether Cross Progression is even able to become a thing or not. I too hope that cross progression will become a thing, it'd be nice to try out PC but I don't wanna buy the game for PC if I don't have the DLCs or levels that I do on PS4.

On the fourth anniversary, they explicitly said they can't do it without permission from the holders of the various ways to store data, and work to unify them or translate them between platforms. That means Sony, Microsoft, Nintendo, and BHVR all have to come to an agreement to allow cross progression. They also have stated they want it. Therefore, while I'm not arguing LeaksByDaylight's findings, I wouldn't take them to mean that cross progression is 100% coming. It just means they're likely tinkering on their end while they talk it out with the holders of the other platforms.

Didn't know about that, thank you for letting me know. I really hope they do come to an agreement. I've been wanting to play on PC for the longest time, but I just can't think of a reason to start grinding all over again on PC, especially when my friends are on PS4 :/
