Me and my friend were playing a normal match of dbd and i suddenly got hit halfway across the map (this happened to my friend to) and i was wondering could this be extreme lag or could he maybe be hacking if so how do i report the person? I play on ps4 btw.

If he insta-downed someone who wasn't exposed and the Killer doesn't have an insta-down, then there's something up and it's worth reporting that person.

With Dedicated Servers, you never know, it could be just lag. If that's the only abnormal thing that happened to you in the match I'd assume the Killer was having a lag spike, and not hacking.
