Today's Strength: The Solo Survivors

Survivors will obviously require a different definition of "strength".

Now what you consider to be strength is up to you, you're free to think whatever it means.

But these polls all depend on my definition of it.

For Killers, the definition was to consistently kill all 4.

So for Survivors, the definition will be to escape with all 4.

How fast they do it, which exit(s) (Exit Gates and/or Hatch) they use, in which Health State they're in when escaping...

That all doesn't matter, what matters is that they get out, and with how many.

When you read the options, imagine how Solo Survivors normally are during the match, then choose the option that resembles that behaviour the most.

For this example, we got: The Solo Survivors

For these Survivor polls, i'd like for you to imagine every poll that you're one of the Survivors.

How good do you rate them at escaping with all 4 Survivors?

P.S. In option #7, it says "Faced".

This is supposed to be "Phased".

My apologies for this error, but i cannot correct it.

I feel like many people simply don't rate solo survivors simply because we always remember the negative over the positive. Personally I feel like if I do good in a chase, they'll finish some gens. If I get hooked, they'll save me before it gets to second phase and to a lesser extent, that they'll cleanse totems.

I mainly play solo survivor and I run into far more better players than potatoes. I also use the perk Kindred which in my opinion is one of the best perks to run with solo survivors.

"They Can Hold Out Well, But Mistakes Happen" and "They're Alright, I Feel Supported & Can Somewhat Depend On Them" were potential other options, but I went with this one. Too often I have people abandon gens that are 90%'d we me bc the TR popped up, when we easily could have finished the gen together before the killer got there. Same with healing. I'll occasionally get good teammates who don't farm me off hooks and who run the killer well, so it's not like 100% bad experience, but I do find that for the most part people will try but not commit more than anything.

I don't know why I got such sh*tty matches yesterday (currently in Red Ranks) but I played 4 or 5 matches in a row where nobody was able to do even a single generator except for me. It was absolutely dogsh*t.

The 5 or 6th match went slightly better, we got 2 gens done, everybody died except for me and another guy, I popped a generator on one side of the map, the other guy popped a gen on the other side, I got to work on the last gen while he looped around and I was able to finish it just as he was downed. PH decided to stick him in a cage while I was already running to the other side of the map so I was able to save him but PH was right on my tail and got me. I died, but he had enough time to open the gate and got out.

Match still sucked since we were playing catch-up the whole time, but I'm glad he got out and broke that terrible streak of matches. It was at this point I gave up playing solo survivor and swapped to killer where I proceeded to have fun getting 4ks unburdened by crappy teammates.

I feel like we get a bad name from a lot of people.

Yes, solo survivors aren't the best, but that's mostly from a lack of communication rather than a lack of skill.

If solos were given the same communication benefits as SWF, I think we'd see them a lot higher on the totem pole than they are.

At red ranks survivors tend to be good on average, but the amount of stupid mistakes I see with Bond is incredible... Which is ok, I do them all the time, but still incredible.

My fourths are often bad to the point where I legitimately think they're letting a friend play. Occasionally you'll find a really good, competent player, but usually they spend the game hiding in a corner, walking or crouching everywhere even when the obsession's in a chase across the map, missing skill checks, etc.

The one thing they usually don't do is get hooked a lot. Funny how little you can get hooked when you don't do gens and have no sense of urgency.

My teammates are alright, but sometimes they'll do REALLY stupid stuff.

I am a fully solo survivor player and its pretty much luck based, you may get amazing teammates that loop the killer for 3 gens and are very cooperative and other times potatoes that only crouch, waste every pallet on the map, unhook you in front of the killer and self care in the corner while you are about to reach second hook stage and the killer is nowhere to be seen.
