Hitting through pallets is the best Killer mechanic
Pallets have a drop animation window where they can allow hits. It's probably one of the most satisfying things a Killer can utilize in the game when they get the timing right.
If you can make a Survivor have the false belief they can avoid the hit, they'll give you a pallet and a down at the same time. What could be better?

Unfortunately that doesn't work for the quick drop (when they are not running) anymore. They made it so the stun is applied at the start of the animation now :(

Killer and survivor cannot both win that fight. If the survivor is going to be in time to stun the killer, they shouldn't be able to hit the survivor too. IMO it is a flaw that needs to be fixed.

Well no good survivor should throw down pallet when they know they are in the window where the hit connects while the pallet is thrown as well.
If they realise this and still throw it well, they're gambling and as such they will very likely be punished for it. Better to get hit/downed without wasting the pallet then doing killer a favor by giving him both. If they're desperate to not get hit they shouldn't allow killer to get that close in the first place and pre-throw pallets at the last safe loop around the tile.

Survivors dont realise its an inteded feature. There is a drop animation, and the killer is stunned roughly when the pallet visually hits the killer.
There is even a Steam achievement (added with Spirit) that tracks hits through pallets.

That is so entirely false lmao.
What it actually tracks is whether you hit a survivor that drops a pallet during a chase, and it is tied to the "Outrage" Achievement.
Has nothing to do with hitting survivors through pallets, lol.
