Pyramid head nerf with 0 compensation

Yeah, No. I think this was an absolutely awesome change because now I'm not basically forced to look like a camper or tunneler when a whole party of save addicted Survies rush the cage, forcing me to encounter their just acquired friend when I specifically wanted to stay on the other side of the map to hunt one of them but Whispers led me to follow them all the way to the ######### cage because they're idiots who can't coordinate a simultaneous distraction/rescue.

thats still gunna happen if your just following the whispers.

Or, you could look at it as "Pyramid Head nerf with 0 penalties for players who abused his cage mechanic" and be happy that you weren't punished for playing scummy as Pyramid Head...

Killer is easy to play. There is nothing to deny that as even hobby killers like me get to rank 1 pretty easily. And do your really wanna compare glitches and bugs to scummy gameplay? That shows youre in no place to talk big. Also rethink what a safe unhook is about, its not just the unhooked safety. Also pallet into flashlight is intented game design, and its not an eternity, and quite easily dealt with. And DS isnt abused, thats what DS is made for in first place, anti-tunneling, which doesnt even work well, is just a byproduct. But i guess its wasted time discuisson such things with your biased opinion on whats "right and wrong".

The survivors now know that uncaging is 100% safe and that PH can't realistically guard his cages because he can't see them. This effects his overall map pressure, regardless of if he actually intended to tunnel / camp or not.

Yet survivors still abuse those bugs and glitches you mentioned. Thats even scummier than tunneling and camping, which btw are said to be valid strategies by devs. No pallet into flashlight is not easily avoidable, its guaranteed and is far more optimal than just dropping a pallet. I said using DS aggressively by going into lockers, or with someone with DS playing decoy for another survivor, yet you ignore my points. Are those examples not an exploitation of what the perk is supposed to do. Also you arent reaching rank 1 killer without optimal perks and as a hobby you do from time to time, stop lying. Just say your a surv who doesnt understand killers and move on.

id care if they left that in but keep in tbagging and flashlight clicking.

This, survivors can now shamelessly go for the unhook without worrying if the PH is on the way, whenever I tell survivors this they never seem to respond to the point that its a free unhook now, weird.

LMFAO I wish whispers reached across the map. Nah, I know how to track. I dunno about genrushing but hook/cage rushing is certainly a thing.

Pyramid head is fine, the changes only nerfed people that used the cages to tunnel like crazy. Hes still really strong

Yes I DO Play Both Sides but hey believe whatever you want

If Torment was a timed status effect then yeah, but it's permanent until they get unhooked.
Allowing a permanent status effect through a ranged attack that will turn into a mori takes too much agency away from survivors. Rather than reward Phead for mind gaming, prepping, and outsmarting his victims, you instead make ranged attacks the only viable option for the killer.

This nerf only targets a specific play style, which, while setting a dangerous precedent for future changes, isn't really something worth getting outraged about.

Torment doesnt do anything, its not like an actual debuff, its not like hindered, exhaustion or hemorrhage, torment is more like something the killer spends to use their power. Torment should be applied through the attack imo because at the moment torment is basically a passive thing to punish obvious mistakes, it punishes survivors for not checking if the killer is using their power, or committing too hard to a loop, however theres too much easy counterplay, such as avoiding the power entirely by running away, or crouching. The ranged attack should inflict torment so PH can more actively give torment.
