What happened with SpringTrap?
Recently I’ve seen a bunch of posts and YouTube videos about springtrap being in Dbd. Sure it’d be cool but why did people all of a sudden want him specifically in Dbd. Why not other horror characters? What happened? What’s the craic?

I don't know, maybe because FNAF had a resurgence during the pandemic.

I think at least 2 solid reasons. We just got licensed content in this game from an iconic horror game with the devs saying they are interested in future gaming licenses in dbd. And that FNAF is a very recent and hugely successful indie horror game in the last 5 years with a large fanbase to this day that still love the lore and the games.

its kinda just been a snowball effect. every post on the forums or reddit or youtube video just caused more people to think about it and make their own thing and it just keeps going and now theres you asking why it happened and its going to make even more people be like "oh hey that could be cool", or "no it would never work" and then an argument breaks out and it goes on for a while and people open their own threads or make their own videos to argue for one side or the other and it just goes on and on and on and on

Well some Youtubers all at once kind of been making FNAF fan music and theories and I guess it does make the most sense out of all the characters to get a actually killer who became a monster. Idk if it will actually happen soon but I know it will happen eventually.

I had no idea what FNAF was and almost regarded ideas for this as memes until a few days ago. Some really solid ideas makes me think I'd like this in DBD.
