New Killer Idea: The Scarecrow
Lore: (This is a bit of a long one but i think it's a good read)
Adrian Tombs was a very gifted young lad that grew up on a farm during his child years. When Adrian got into High School, he was sent to the boarding School and accelerated in his studies, even so far as to gaining a scholarship for a prestige private college for robotics.
During his final year, Adrian was notified that his father and mother was killed at their farm house during a break-in and Adrian was consumed by guilt and grief. Adrian finished his final year and moved back to his family farm house to complete his own personal project.
Now, a acknowledged genius, Adrian sells state of the art robots schematics and plans to private and public clients.
Though Adrian has a good life, the grief about his parents and the blame he gives others for not helping, gnaws at his mind. Causing him to detest people more and more ever so slightly.
Years past and people found it much harder to get in contact with Adrian. His robots deliver any items to and from his house and no one has even heard his voice in years.
He was presumed when the local law enforcement found his house. The found the house seemed almost decayed and rotting.
Adrian is presumed missing.
One fateful night, a group of criminals approached Adrian's property in the hopes of capturing him, and either ransom him off for millions or force him to construct weapons for them.
As they approached the house's back side, they moved through tall grass and weed filled fields that after time, came up to their heads. After a while of wandering the group came across a old nearly broken down house, with a strange metallic scarecrow standing at the front door. Arms spread at 90 degrees from its body with a small lantern in its one hand.
As the leader of the group approached the machine, he pondered to salvage and sell this but not noticing his men disappearing one by one into the tall grass.
He looks at his boot, feeling something tugging at it, only to see the decapitated head of one of his group members, to which he immediately noticed all the others gone and in a panic, looking around him for the whoever did this.
But then, he noticed the scarecrow behind him coming to life, it's mechanical claw impales the man and from the scarecrow, a dead, cracking and metallic voice says "Murderer.".
The dead corpse is dropped to the floor and the scarecrow returns to the house. It enters and we can see the rotting, decomposed body of Adrian on the floor, right next to it a machine stands labeled: Project 0 - Soul Transferal.
Adrian, now made completely made by the success of his greatest experiment, Roams the lands around his farm as a Scarecrow. Never making his presence know. Killing everyone he comes across as they did not help save his parents or avenge their death. Everyone is at fault and everyone needs to die.
I imagine his design to be similar to League of Legend's Fiddlesticks character(Image belowe)

Stats: The Scarecrow is a Mechanical killer, able to produce copies of himself to confuse and surprise the survivors using his power Just a Harmless Scarecrow, while having advantages from his mechanical nature.
His personal perks are Crow Storm, Mechanophobia and Watch Where You Step. Which allows him to scare the survivors and force them to make mistakes.

As the Scarecrow is a machine and not a Organic being, He has no heartbeat for a terror radius. Instead, While the Scarecrow is moving , loud mechanical scraping and banging can be heard instead.
1st Ability - Just a Harmless Scarecrow.
Just a Harmless Scarecrow has 3 charges. When the ability is activated, one charge is consumed and a 10 second cooldown timer activates. When this timer is done, one charge is restored.
By Pressing the Ability button, (M2 on PC), the Scarecrow will create a false copy of himself that will mirror what his is currently doing. The False Scarecrow will do the following depending on what he is copying.
While Moving: If the ability is activated, the false scare will continue moving in the current direction the actual scarecrow traveled at the instance this ability is activated.
If the false scarecrow collides with a wall, it dissipates.
The false scarecrow will pass through dropped pallets.
If the false scarecrow would collide with a survivor, it feigns and attack and the survivor is force to scream, revealing their aura for 4 seconds and they are slowed by 10% for 5 seconds. The false Scarecrow also dissipates in this instance.
While Standing Still: The Scarecrow produces a false scare crow that will stand in idle for 2 minutes. At the end of this time, the false scarecrow dissipates. The idling false scarecrow can not be told apart from the actual idling Scarecrow.
If a survivor passes the false Scarecrow, it will give activate the Scarecrow's 2de Ability, Fake Surprise.
If the ability is activated, the False Scarecrow will perform a fake lunge at the survivor, if it hits, the Survivor is affected by the Blindness and Oblivious Status Effects, and is slowed by 5% for 60 seconds.

Detailed Notes:
If in any way the Scarecrow's aura is shown the the survivors, the auras of all false scarecrows are also show to the Survivors.
Only 3 Idle False Scarecrows can exist on the map.
The false Scarecrows all share the regular Scarecrow's Red Stain and Terror radius and all changes to the terror radius and red stain of the actual scarecrow also affect the false scare crows.
There is no way to tell the real scarecrow from the false scarecrows.

Perks:
1ste Teachable Perk - Crow Storm
Your bond to the creatures of the realm of the entity is strong and thus they will help you on your search.
As the Killer, you do not startle any Crows on the map.
Decrease the amount of time it takes for a startled crow to return by 5/7/10 seconds.
If a survivor startles a crow, they are inflicted by the Exposed Status Effect for 10 Seconds.

2de Teachable Perk - Mechanophobia
The Entity instills a great fear of machines into the Survivor's hearts.
If 2 or more Survivors are working on a Generator and a skill check is failed while they are working on it. The Generator Repair Progress is regresses by 25%.
If the Killer successfully hits a Survivor, all Survivors currently working on a generator is given a tremendously difficult Skill Check.

3de Teachable Perk - Watch Where You Step
During a Chase, if a Survivor looks at the killer for 6/4/2 seconds, they are inflicted with the Hindered Status Effect for 10/20/30 Seconds. Watch where you step has a cool down of 30 Seconds.

That's a nice picture man.1st perk seems a bit OP, I think the times should be halved. But the power and perks are all really good.

Good read, not gunna really judge it just enjoy it. Personally I’ve loved Scarecrow designs for years and collect all the scary movies associated with them (no matter how bad).

Crow Storm has far too long of a Duration. I'd go so far as to make it 3/4/5 seconds considering how often Crows are scared.
Mechanophobia is cool. I'd love to see it combo'ed with Gearhead
Watch Where you step needs to specify the magnitude of the Hindered effect. Regardless of the magnitude though, the bloodlust effect has to go since it's already covered by Beast of Pray.

I buffed the power a bit by reducing the charge cool down. And changed the perks to be more balanced.
