Having to play against impossible killers? Just quit.
A whole lot of us who play Dead By Daylight choose to play as survivors because that’s the most fun. A lot of these games are great fun for us, otherwise we wouldn’t be playing it.
However, when we have to play this game against people who have played this 500 billion times as killers, and probably do nothing all day long, other than play this as killers, it ruins the fun for a whole lot of us. You people know as well as I do that there is no reasonable chance we have of beating them. This game has also been set up in such a way that gives these impossible to beat killers extreme advantages which make it virtually impossible to win. Maybe you get extremely lucky in 1 game out of 500, but what is the point?
I’ve also contacted customer support and they seem to have given me the run around, saying something about they are working on this issue with their matchmaking software. But you guys know as well as I do that no real changes are being made and meanwhile, we are having to play game after game after game of always losing because there’s no real chance of us being able to win.
Therefore, since these killers are ruining our fun, I say we start to ruin some of their fun too. When I’m playing in a game and I start to realize I’m having to go up against one of these people, I simply quit. I don’t disconnect (like a lot of other people are doing for this reason) because that can get you banned that way. Instead, I just run right up to the killer and stand there. Then when the killer hooks me, I immediately do the 3 escape attempts and when those fail, I don’t press the A button (repeatedly) and allow my character to get killed.
After all, why waste your time with these people? Why not get to other killers faster who are gonna be a whole lot more fun playing against? Also, if enough of us people (who primarily choose to play as survivors) started doing this, Dead By Daylight would have to make some real changes very quickly. There are a whole lot more of us survivors than there are killers.

Perhaps PvP games are not for you. Even in a game like Overwatch with an MMR system for its Quick Play, I will still get some matches with Masters and Grandmasters on the other team. Not constantly, but it happens. If you can't beat them because the skill gap is just too wide, you take the loss and move on to the next match.
If you can't handle that, then no multiplayer PvP game will be for you for long.

So you're upset because you lost to a killer better than you? You may not be as good as you think you are
Furthermore, you completely ruin the match for your teammates, by repeatedly killing yourself on first hook
Last but not least, git gud

why waste your time with these people?
Don't know, maybe to learn something and get better?

Killers with over 500 hours in game need to be permabanned.

Oh I can't escape every match even with second chances perks and busted gen speed 'cause the killer know how to end chases and pressure gens.
If someone runs to me to suicide you can bet you'll slug the ######### out of him to make he endure the 4 minute bleed out. If you try to destroy the fun of other 4 peaple just because you can't stand a pvp match where someone is better than you, just go play a casual game.

So what about killers going against surviors that have played this "500 billion times"? Should they just give up as well?

Lose and learn I always say.
But in your case, lose and leave

He/she is clearly new guys, give they a break.
You're probably getting matches with players of higher skill level.
Their matchmaking is pretty much non existent. It has been bad for both sides.
You're not the first one ofended.

LOL!!! Boy, have I hit a nerve with you all over this issue. And I take it that those of you who are obviously angry 😡 with what I just said (and suggested) play as killers a lot too.
So nah, I’m gonna keep playing this game. As I said already, I have a lot of fun playing this. Just not against someone who’s entire universe revolves around this game.
And just to let you all know, my username is lightning5103 and I’m gonna be encouraging a whole lot more people to do the same thing I’m doing. And to the guy who said he would slug me and let my character lay there, I couldn’t care less, buddy🤣. That will simply give me a chance to do other things (away from playing video games) that I need to do.
I look forward to quitting on you guys. I’ll see you all around!

But don't dc. The penalty is off right now and it's not okay to just dc out of games. Ist frustrates your teammates!

Go play minecraft

Your coming across as extremely toxic and I hope everyone who does come up against you just tunnels you and camps. Toys out the pram because you can't win

this game turning into a joke.

Yeah matchmaking blows. It will constantly put me against the most tryhard Spirits and top tier killers with all the meta perks meanwhile it gives me a team consisting of rank 17 baby megs and dweets with like 1 perk each. There’s pretty much nothing you can. You can’t even hope for the hatch anymore after the changes.

Just 3 things.
- You said most people play as survivor because it’s more fun. Nah, most people play survivor because it’s easier.
- Killer obviously being much harder, you’re this upset that a person put in the time out of love for the game to learn how to be good!? Get real, c’mon. Bare in mind, a good killer has to have taken several big losses to learn and improve...they paid their dues.
- Everything else you’ve claimed as justified is totally unreasonable, and unacceptable.

I think this person finds Fortnite to be a good game.

Most people play survivor because........
Wait for it
....
4 survivors to 1 killer..... Do the math
2 -
Losing to many matches as survivor?
If ya'll make enough complaint posts, the DEVs will nerf killers that you are having troubles with.
3 -
you sir are why i dont play survivor. Half of the survivor player base make extremely poor choices and dont use any form of common sense like running, injured to a hooked survivor to make a save while being chased by the killer. Or the other half, which are spoiled, Entitled brats, that lash out at the community/devs when they dont get their way. Theyre the ones who type hate in post game chat or message you on console after you kill them, even though they have an extreme advantage at every turn.

This.
If there's one thing I've learned about PvP games over the years is that they will always be unbalanced, especially near the top elo, and that apparently a majority of people only have fun when they ruin the fun for the other/enemy players.

Aaaaand thats why the dc penalty exists

The weird thing about survivors that do this is that you're not screwing over the killer, you're just screwing over other survivors.
So yeah, as someone who mostly plays killer, I say disconnect all you want. Do it at the start of the match if you wish! It does nothing but help me win. (Although, to be honest, if there's a DC I'll usually just let the survivors farm because there's no challenge in a 3v1 at 5 gens.)

If fighting is sure to result in victory, then you must fight! Sun Tzu said that! And id say he knows a little more about fighting than you do pal, because he invented it!

You know the best thing about online games such as DBD? You play against a wide variety of players - some you will be better than, others will be better than you. I'd rather play against someone better than me any day of the week, because that's the only way to learn and it improves your game so much.
So instead of dying on your first hook, maybe try to play the game which will help you to learn the game and therefore improve your own skills in the process.
Thread locked as I'm not having threads trying to encourage negative in game behaviour from other forum users.
