Devs are Balancing Backwards
With the incoming Billy nerf, it has become abundantly clear that the Devs are approaching the issue of balancing backwards. I think we can all agree that the tierlist of win-rates in this game goes something like this:
Solo surv < Killer < SWF
With an adept 4-man almost guaranteed to win almost every game, even against the most skilled killers using the most powerful builds. A skilled SWF is THE MOST broken thing in the game, and has been since its inception.
The first step should have been to buff solo queue survivors up to, or close to the level of, survive with friend. Short of giving survivors radios or voice chat, (which should absolutely never happen), I'm not entirely sure how this should be accomplished, but bhvr is very creative, and I believe in them. Perks like kindred and bond help, but it's nothing compared to the accurate and up-to-date information that a SWF can give each other.
Once this is accomplished, only then should you be making major balancing decisions on killers like this.
I'm going to be withholding any real judgement on this upcoming patch until the ptb, but I can already tell it's not looking good.

This is something I stated in another thread but do you know what is frustrating? They were considering adding kindred as base kit for survivors. That would have helped as the devs could then balance around swf but they chose against this....
