Any fun survivor builds?
Comments

Again, picture won't show up on Xbox DVR.
Faced a rank 1 clown, all of my teammates were purple. The killer was very smart and none of my four BT attempts worked. Additionally, none of them wanted me to heal them despite me having Leader and We'll make it. Kindred helped both times I was hooked and could be saved, as when I was everyone was on a gen.
Killer got a 4k in the end, and deservedly.

Oh wow, I would've thought people would wanted the fast heals to take pressure off them. I guess not. :D
And all the best with your battle!

So would've I, and thanks dude!

May god bless you man..

Sure! Throw on any 4 perks you like. Once the game starts, get camped and tunneled by the killer until you die with 4,000 points or less. It's not like all 4 survivors used an anniversary offering while the killer used none, yet the killer gets 30k points while the survivors die with 4-10k. Fun!
Don't find this fun? Drink some bubble tea! 😠
Edit: Took this screenshot after posting this comment, and gee, look, it's exactly as I said it would be (and has been).
Another fun build: Equip Better Together and watch every teammate use it as a beacon to kite the killer to you in an effort to ditch them because they can't loop and the devs decided that stealthing out of a chase should be an impossible thing.

This sounds like a future meta but deleverence, ds, unbreakable, and soul gaurd

Thanks dude, just gotta hope.

Try swapping plunderer wiith what ever

I love using Poised, Lithe, Dance with Me, and whatever last perk you want (could be quick & quiet or iron will) to escape the killer several times during chases..
I've also had a ton of fun with this healing build: Empathy, Autodidact, Leader, and Solidarity. I'll go heal the injured and get stacks of Autodidact, solidarity heals me halfway, and leader makes them heal me ASAP once I'm done healing someone!

to make deiverence work, i find that its best that you lay low doing hexes and searching for chests for the early game until someone is chased, don't repair with them because working together increases the chance of the killer downing you first. if you play swf its more effective if you're on coms.

I like using head on, quick and quiet, iron will, and resilience (the last perk can be switched for anything)
also have fun with autodidact, blood pact, solidarity, and empathy

good build didnt think of that :D the build i someyime suse for fun is quick and quite, head on,kindred, open handed

excellent to hear that it worked out, Diversion requires a bit of practice to use effectively, but once the intricacies click in it works brilliantly

Fairly good game. Huntress knew when to commit and when not to commit to a chase, but simply didn't get the crucial downs. All players were hooked at least once (she got six hooks in total) and she could've had a kill if she didn't slug an Ash we had on the team.
Leader came in use a lot, as did Bloodpact, as the obsession preferred staying injured for lengthy times and then allowing me to heal them when we finish a gen and vice versa. Additionally, I managed to save the obsession at the end by body blocking The Huntress from her with the help of Bloodpact.
Iron Will didn't really come in use, despite it making it into my normal build, nor did Balanced Landing, despite the map being Father Cambells.
Definitely gonna try Bloodpact and Leader more often.

None of the perks helped sadly. Ruin was destroyed early, and whenever I was downed he didn't have anyone in his TR.
Additionally, he didn't tunnel and I was downed first so DS and deliverance didn't come in handy.
He was a good Oni despite this.

First perk build went decent. Ran Ghostface around for two gens, however got downed the second time after being stalked while healing a tm, and had no pallets the third time round while in an area with no vaults to my disposal without playing extremely risky.
Overall fun build despite this, tricked the killer twice into checking locker.
Second build I forgot to take a screenshot of, but it was a Bubba whi got 0k. He hooked me once, two guys twice and that was it. Solidarity helped alot as the Bubba M1'd often, leading to Autodidact getting 5 stacks.

Not much to say in this match up, except all perks came into use at some point. Swapped out resilience for Inner Strength, and as I wasn't on gens often, it proved to be a worthy trade.
Killer played decent, but would have had a 3k if Jake didn't get over altruistic at the end.

No perks. Honestly more fun than having perks, because you can't just do anything with little consequences. It makes the game more intense, and in turn, more fun.

Picture wouldn't appear on Xbox DVR but ranks tell the story here (all of them were purple)
We were facing a Plague. (R2)
They. All. Cleansed.
Even before they got injured from being sick, they'd still cleanse themselves. Perks seemed to help early chase but overall unreliable as Plague always had Corrupt Purge.

My "Use what you find" build.
Plunderer's, Streetwise, Ace in the Hole, Exhaustion Perk of your choice or Pharmacy to really go all in on the meme. Also maybe a chest offering.
Find a toolbox? Do gens. Find a Medkit? Heal your team. Flashlight? Try to save your teammates. Then once you run out of use of the item... find another box and do it again. Admittedly I've not managed to pull together all of these perks to actually do it but I really want to.

Sorry for the late response, was on to my parents.
It was a rough game. Started out great. Got a med kit through Pharmacy, got a unhook and used it to heal him. Second chest I got a broken key with an amber add on. Decided that meant I should get into a chase. I ran the killer around for just about 3 minutes (I like to time my chases) and a single gen got done.
Got suspicious, so after the killer gave up on me, I worked on a gen with two survivors. They missed a ton of skill checks, so I decided time to get the last chest (someone opened the other chest).
Got a rainbow map, which helped me find hatch, but sadly didn't have a key to open it. Eventually, we die with one gen left as there are simply no pallets left. I tried saving two strong ones, but unfortunately they were used up when I went to use them.
I would definitely recommend this build.

This is the build I run I find it quite fun personally.
Streetwise, Prove thyself, borrowed time and better together

Forgot to screenshot the results, but got 4k'd by a Hag with 3 gens left.
She was extremely good, although my team mates ranks of 16, 13 and 5 didn't help.
Prove Thyself and Better Together came into use early game, Borrowed Time and Streetwise didn't come into use.

I love that you're coming back to actually tell us your experience with the builds we're suggesting. One of the best threads on here!

Play with only object of obsession equipped and no items or offerings and see how long it takes for you to die lol
I love doing this with Dwight for some sick reason
Edit: for bonus lolz stare in the killers direction and spam t bag until they begin a chase with you

Thanks dude, thought it would be intresting to show others the outcome to see if it's worthwhile trying themselves.

Sounds like a fun one (especially that OoO often makes it into my build).
Definitely have to try that out in the morning.

Oh I got a good one:
Decisive Strike
Unbreakable
Sprint Burst
Borrowed Time / Adrenaline
Don't tell anyone though, we don't want everyone to start using this set up.

My mouth is shut.
I hate using DS, Unbreakable and Borrowed time 😣

I love: tenacity + unbreakable + flip flop + boil over

I was running that perk build the other day for the Escape a trial with Boil Over challenge. A good one which I'll try again for you tomorrow.

Licky Break, Iron Will, Dance with Me, Balance Landing on maps with a lot of drops( Meat Plant, Silent Hill, or Hawkins maps) is fun.

I like to run a "Lucky Ace" build with Slippery Meat + Up the Ante, and then Plunderer's + Ace in the Hole.
You have something close to a 50% chance to unhook yourself with 3 living teammates. A lot of people don't realize their "4%" to Kobe is actually closer to 12% across all 3 escape attempts. With 6 attempts (Slippery meat) and a 13% chance (Up the Ante - 4% base + 3% x 3 teammates) you're more likely to Kobe then not.
Plunderers + Ace has no real synergy or relation to the other two, it's just fun to kind of have your role chosen by the chest. Get a purple flashlight? I will blind at every pallet. Alex's toolbox? Sabo master. Ranger's Medkit? Dr. Visconti is on call.

Quick and quiet. Head on. Dance with me. And any other perk you'd like. That build is so much fun lol.

I nearly always randomise my perks, but I did create a meme build called "APB - Absolutely Paranoid B*****d"
• Spine Chill
• Premonition
• Dark Sense
• Object of Obsession

Spine Chill, Lithe, Quick and Quiet, and Dance With Me. Know when the killer is coming and GTFO quickly. You'd be surprised how often you can get away from the killer with the ability to fast vault silently, and then sprint without leaving any scratch marks.

For The People, Resilience, Borrowed Time, Iron Will
Basically, you're the combat medic. Someone gets hooked you rush for the save, use BT, heal em with FTP, and get the hell out before the killer gets you.
It's honestly my favorite survivor build. Second favorite is Hope, Fixated, Vigil, Sprint Burst.

Didn't teabag because I know how it feels to receive it.
Killer should've had a 1k, but the whole team got over altruistic at the end which turned into a 2k, and almost a 3k if it wasn't for Ace having DS.
Bubba got his first down after all five gens were done, he got into one short chase with me that I escaped without taking a hit.
Not much else to say really...

Had a very early death and we couldn't recover. Killer didn't slug, although did wiggle out once. One of our Neas was very poor, so it was more of a 2 v 1 as she also died before a gen was completed.

Big oof, it's helped me multiple times. But why I said unbreakable and soul gaurd is for killers who expects ds and unbreakable so you can pretty much unbreakable safely.

Can you close this please? Doubt I'll play much tomorrow and then I'm off on Friday, so I doubt I'll need this thread. Thanks.
