PS4 - Ghastly Gateau Cake offering is not being accepted

Hello,
I played a couple of games using 2 different characters (Meg and Kate) and used Ghastly Gateau Cake offering, however, it did not burn for either of the games.
During one of the games (for Kate), 3 more players in the lobby had the same offering and it worked. After the game ended, I checked my load out and the offering was still there.
For my game with Meg, I was the only one using that offering and it did not go through.
Step1 : Boot the game
Step2: Loaded as a Survivor
Step3: Navigated to Loadout and chose "Ghastly Gateau Cake" offering.
Step4: Ready
Step5: Entered a game
Offering not burnt!
Please note: This was working on and before Sunday, but has not worked since.
