There should be some sort of extra bonus that can help people specialize their builds in the game so the feeling of the game is less generic meta build. For example a bonus that gives minor boosts like healing profession +.25% per a boost slot or maybe something that helps exhaustion etc for survivors and for the killers attack speed boosts or blindness duration decreases per rune depending what people specialize in.

Maybe a cap of 12 slots for each category and there be 3 categories. For example survival (obviously for survivors) can be things that boost your heal speed or vault speed.

Another category could be heroism or whatever name that specializes in boosts for what you do to other survivors or what they do around you.

Finally for survivors an aura category that maybe prolongs aura sight distance or time or decreases your own aura time/distance for the killer.

For the killer perhaps boost attack speed/movement speed/vault speedd with Hunter category slots.

To make the killer more efficient in destruction a destruction category that boosts pallet destruction

Finally for killers their own aura category that would be something to boosts their aura sight distance/duration.

It's not completely thought out yet but there should be a cap and possibly a penalty factor for each one of the categories based on a tier for the slots.

Most times survivors don't cooperate and it destroys the games fun aspect and if people don't enjoy something they'll start leaving it or won't make purchases.
