Corrupt purge activates after hooking someone

This happened to me twice last night. When I hook someone and there's already corrupt fountain nearby It activates automatically after I complete the hooking process. It's rather annoying because both times I didn't want to do that.


I think you have to be quite close to the fountain, probably due to same button applied when using the fountain and hooking.

I play on PS4.

    If every fountain is corrupt, they will all turn clean again and you will gain the buff automatically. So if too many people cleanse too quickly, you will be forced to take corrupt and lose like 5 charges of it.

    Ok I dind't know that. Anyway, I don't think that was the cause because it happened early game and I only lost the fountain near the hook.
