PSA: Killer Adepts without 4ks
I got Pyramid Heads Adept with an iri gold gold iri. Three sacrifices one escape. Very pleased and not sure when this changed. Just figured I'd let people know that don't already know. Happy hunting!

That is still possible at purple ranks. But at red ranks you MUST 4k or else no adept for you.

It depends on your rank. Its alot easier to double pip at brown ranks than red for example.

Thank you both. I think my killer's at green right now which would explain it. I just came back from a long break. I hope this helps someone out there though that's intimidated by the adepts.

Must be above green ranks because purple and green ranks both require 3 iridescents and at least one gold to double pip and red ranks is 4 iridescents of course.

Either the adept killer or the adept survivor should be changed. They are not equal.
The adept survivor achievement requires merely ecaping with only the 3 teachable perks, while the adept killer requires killing all 4 survivors.
Since the devs had stated that 2 survivors escaping and 2 survivors dying is the balance they are striving for, the fact that the killer has to go above and beyond by getting a 4k for their adept means that the survivors should also have to go above and beyond and escape without being downed. If not, then the killer should only have to get 2 kills for adept.

The requirement isnt to get a 4k, its to double pip. You can get a 4k and SAFETY pip.

You dont have to go THAT far.
If not for the fact that 5 gens were still up, I couldve just as well been in that same boat. This is a 4k 5 gen safety pip with no mori.

I've gotten merciless killer with a hatch escape 3k, I like the challenge of the adepts unlike the survivor ones.
