Was the Leatherface Buff Overkill?
Rather than make a small tweak to Leatherface's power, the devs decided to give him the ability to chainsaw up to 3 times longer and he's faster. He also gains his charges back instantly for downing someone from a UR Add-on, which can end up him playing like the Legion, only it's the exposed status effect than mending. He's then given new add-ons that can help him in different ways. I seen multiple streams of him and it seems most of the time 3-4 survivors die/dc on average even when people aren't using add-ons. The only downside of his rework seems to be the overheat mechanic, although it's not even a big deal. Do you guys also think he needs some kind of nerf before the official update, or do you think he's perfect the way he is?

No, but since he's a better Legion, Legion needs a total rework.

Yes. He is going to be the most annoying killer to go against now. You will basically have to hope there is a decent window near or you are going down. He is completely ridiculous now.

He needs an Ultra Rare add-on to be able to do that.

Its funny when he smacks me with bt and still catches up in 1 chainsaw use.

I think the Bubba buff is great and it should be left like that. Old Bubba needed more than a small tweak imo. If you're basing it off of videos where the 2 Iri addons are being used then those are bugged atm, so the chainsaw shouldn't last that long.

He has amazing chase but no map pressure. He's absolutely fine.

I've always thought that it shouldn't be insta-down, but hits multiple times in a short window of time.
Though if they're going to do anything it's how fast he gets his charges back and possibly the acceleration speed. Maybe widen the blades hitbox so it could possibly snag on the terrain more.
There's all kinds of things they could tweak and he'd still be good.

Billy's chainsaw overheats in 15 seconds. Bubba can use his for 20 minutes. makes sense.

He's okay, but he certainly isn't the most consistent killer in circumstances. He can only hit multiple survivors if they're a certain distance from eachother. Survivors also tend to either run from him when he's near, or hide behind a pallet waiting for him to get in stun range. Since his vault speed isn't faster than the survivor's he's not closing the gap on survivors in loops. His add-ons also don't seem to make that much of a difference like the killer instinct and recovery cooldown add-ons. I still like him though.

The only way to get more charges from downing someone is an Iri add on, and theres way more annoying iri add ons for this to be a problem. The counter play is the same as Legion: just scatter and rob him from snowballing with his power.

Reworked bubba is fine.
The only thing that are broken right now are his irri add-ons. These add-ons are bugged so they wont make it to the live servers.

People love to complain soon as the killer gets one shred of power first nurse then spirit now hillbilly and now cannibal I wish people would actually play the game like they intended but entitled survivors must ruin the killer base because they can Noam the loudest so no I think they should keep the cannibal buff as is

Everyone's a rank 1 survivor until Bubba vaults a window or pallet like Legion.

Understand that not everything needing to be buffed or nerfed is unreasonable. Balance needs to exist or players will be discouraged to choose roles. The devs have been against buffing Leatherface for some time due to him being too strong if even the smallest tweak for him is made like movement speed. The update makes him even more dangerous in loops. Freddy or Spirit isn't even that strong in loops and they're A tier killers. He completely replaces clown too since the gimmick behind him is to minimize loops while Leatherface can do the same thing, but instantly down people as a bonus.

Im not sure, sure, he is way stronger at most loops, but he is still weak in decent window spots.

Well I would say here the same thing survivor said to the killer complaining about the Billy nerv. "just wait for it to come out of or before you start whining"
The devs have shown multiple times to tune down after the ptb.
