Can red rank survivors stop being snowflakes please!?
I've not long got up to the point I get teamed with red rank players, from about rank 8 I've been getting put with 4's and above.
Never have I seen so many DC's from survivors and killers the whole time I've played this game which is since just after release, I think the current penalties aren't enough for people who DC as it usually happens within the first few mins and ruins the game.
Can we have like 24 hour bans for repeat offenders please? What do you guys and gals think?

Well, currently there is no penalty at all. Thats why the number of DCs is so high.

I thought you got stopped from playing for like 5 mins before you could search again? Apologies for not being sure as don't DC but thought there was a penalty introduced for people who done it alot?

Oh 😕 I just think it's a huge abuse of the game and needs to be seriously closed down on, it's crazy because it seems to be majority of high ranks doing it.

apparently in the next patch theyre doing a dbd mobile and making bots replace players. this could be why. alternatively its cause people were hacking into the servers and giving people unfair penalties (example tru3 got a 48 hour penalty after not dcing once).

They’ve temporarily disabled the disconnect penalties due to a security flaw that made them abusable. Once they fix that issue I’m sure they’ll reinstate them.

Well that's something at least, always a small group of people out to ruin things one way or another weather it be with behaviour or hacks 😕 thanks for the info though.

I hope they do something because when you spend up to 10 mins queuing to get some DC in the first couple of minutes it sure does make you want to stop playing.

Yeah, I know how you feel. I’ve had more people disconnecting in my games since they disabled the penalties as well and it’s quite annoying. Hopefully it will be fixed soon. :)

I had one yesterday dc because this happened
Steve gets downed I look at wall pick him up hook him she fails her flashlight
She then unhooks him I hook him again she fails
Now I have a Jane down next to basement and what happens when she tries to flashlight she fails lets me hit her twice then I hook Jane then right as she is about to be hooked quits
After that I look at her rank was rank 1 went to rank 2
And that’s not the end of the entitlement cuz I was told I was the issue cuz I “tunneled” and wouldn’t farm with them

Until the penalty is back up I think you’re gonna see a lot of “snowflakes.” I agree though, it’s annoying to have someone disconnect. Especially on their first hook or if they’re found first. Screws over the team.
