Dependencies?

Hello, so, recently (more then recently) I've been getting error 14, when i try to launch dead by daylight, and It says it is an error with the game itself, is there any dependency to play dead by daylight?

You could try to verify your game files in Steam.

To find those the Shared Install Depot folder path is by default C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Steamworks Shared\_CommonRedist or where you installed Steam if it's outside the default location.

And to fix the game files using Steam tools you should start with clearing download cache first to make sure Steam downloads most up to date and correct files, then verify game file integrity as suggested by @Pulsar above.

I don't remember the error codes, what is the exact error text description for error 14?

What really fixed this problem was fixing EAC..

So yeahhh, thanks either way.
